You layed against a tree, your eyes closed while you relaxed. The moonlight hit your body and the surface of the water in front of you. You had been traveling all day and you were just tired. Your feet throbbed, which made you even more glad you were now sitting down. You sighed, your head falling a little limp to the side. Suddenly, your heard a noise behind the tree.

You sighed in an irritated tone and looked around the tree to see Itachi standing there. He was looking down at you while you raised an annoyed eyebrow at him.

"Must you always follow me? I do like alone time, ya know," you said, huffing and turning to your original spot. Itachi didn't respond. Instead, you felt him sit down next to you. You looked away, still getting annoyed at him.

"Will you ever let me out of your eye sight?"

"No," said Itachi simply. You rolled your eyes and looked at him through the corner of your eye. He wasn't looking at you anymore. Now his eyes were closed.

"Why not? I can take care of myself!" you said, the annoyance in your voice apparent now. Itachi didn't move, he just said calmly,

"Like you have taken care of yourself in the past?" Grr...he got you on that one. You huffed, pulling your legs to your chest and resting your chin on your knees. Itachi made what sounded like a slight chuckle before silence again. You sighed, closing your eyes. Something had been in your mind for a while now and you really wanted to ask it.

"Itachi...can I ask you something?" you said softly, opening one eye to look at him. He didn't answer, and since he didn't protest, you were pretty sure that meant continue,"Well...why have you...ya know...kissed me?" you said the last sentence softly, looking away again.

The only reply you got was dead silence. You groaned softly and stood up, walking near the edge of the water. You looked down at it, your arms folded over your chest. As you looked down into the water, you could see how deep it was. You couldn't see the bottom at all.

You shivered suddenly as a cool breeze went wafting over you. You put your arms more tightly around yourself as your body scruched slightly to keep itself warm. There were sudden footsteps behind you and you felt two arms wrap around you, hugging you from behind. You felt warmth instantly which you would have enjoyed if it wasn't for Itachi being the person keeping you warm. You felt his body press against your back and it made your body tense up.

Sure, this was ok when you were acting when he was Kyo, but not when there was no need to.

"Itachi, what are you doing?" you asked, narrowing your eyes at him slightly. You felt Itachi bring his head forward more so his chin could rest on your shoulder. His eyes were closed once again.

"...I don't know..." he said softly, making you raise an eyebrow at him.

"How could you not know?" you asked, about to pull away when you felt his arms tighten around you, making you stay still. You sighed, not feeling like putting up a fight at the moment. You looked out onto the water once again.

"Itachi...are you ever going to answer my question?" you asked suddenly. You turned your head to look at him, but he kept a completely emotionless face.

"No," Itachi said, and you felt your irritation growing again.

"Urgh...I don't get you," you said, narrowing your eyes out onto the water again. Itachi just remained silent, still holding onto you, "You are such a pain," you mummbled. You felt Itachi move while his arms slid off you. You smirked, thinking that you had gotten him mad enough to let go of you. But, instead, there was a sudden force on your shoulders.
