Addie's P.O.V.

"I talked to my aunt and I'm going to fly to Ireland tomorrow morning to visit my cousin. I can try to find out something," I informed Zayn.

He nodded and didn't say anything. His hand raised slightly, and he hesitated at first, but then he continued, as if he suddenly wasn't afraid, and stroked my cheek softly. I closed my eyes, wishing he would kiss me, but his hand dropped as he pulled away.

"I am going to come with you," he told me.

"It's no trouble for me to go alone. I'll be back soon."

"I was not asking if I could come, I was telling you that I was going to. With how things are now, I need to be with you to know that you are safe."

I didn't respond and I glanced down to the floor of my living room.

Zayn had come over immediately after I called him even though the drive was pretty long. He had gotten a new car already, and it had only been about a day. How he did it, I did not know.

"I am assuming that you do not have school tomorrow."

I nodded to him and stood up to go into my kitchen. I am SO hungry. It's six and I haven't eaten since that granola bar this morning.

"I could make you something," Zayn offered.

I jumped, startled by how quickly he'd appeared behind me.

"You don't mind?"

He shook his head and went through the ingredients I had. Of course, I had a lot of food items; who doesn't love food?

"Is fettuccine okay with you?"

I coughed to cover up the sound of my stomach growling and Zayn smiled.

"Sounds great," I replied nonchalantly, trying to hide the fact that I was blushing.

"I like it when you blush," Zayn confessed almost inaudibly.

I was too nervous and embarrassed to answer, so I just remained silent.

"Did you finish your homework?" He wondered, changing the topic.

Aw, man. "Oh, no. Thank you for reminding me."

I hopped up and ran off to my room to bring my backpack to the bar table in the kitchen.

"I think it would be better for me to go visit her and for you to go act like a tourist. Considering the fact that she doesn't know you, it might make her uneasy and I don't want to cause anymore anxiety for her," I suggested warily.

Zayn agreed, "Make certain that you propose the right questions in order to gain knowledge you wish of having."

I nodded and pulled my phone from my back pocket to navigate me to the hospital from the airport.

My aunt had said the hospital was in walking distance, and that was perfect for me considering I didn't want to rent  a car.

"Call me if anyone begins to follow you, like we planned, okay?"

"Okay, I will," I assured him.

Even though I wasn't sure that I should do this, I did it anyway; I'd already kissed him, so who cares? I wrapped my arms around his waist giving him a promising hug that I would be all right. He stiffly patted my back and I laughed lightly.
