Hey, guys. There's honestly been so much that has been revealed and I know your heads are probably spinning. This is here to help remind you of what's happened so far! I'll also explain a few things. I guess it's kind of like what TV shows do when they replay what happened previously before they play the new episode! I didn't know if I should go by certain chapters, but I guess I will...that'll remind you of basically everything?
Chapter 1: Zayn moves into his new flat. Zayn explains how he got his sketchbook. When Zayn was born, his father had told his mother, "This will be his only escape from the curse." What does that mean? Well the curse prevents Zayn from loving anyone, so if he's focused on art and other things, it'll be easier for him to deal with the fact that he will "never" be able to love. Also, Zayn doesn't have to be emotionless but he chooses to be, because if he feels happiness and sadness and stuff...he'll be more likely to accidentally fall for someone. Blah blah blah Addie shows up.
Chapter 2: This is when Zayn begins to question himself. He knows that he shouldn't feel anything, and he shouldn't become too friendly with Addie. First of all, she's a total stranger. Second, um, he's a confused robot. Zayn and Addie begin bickering and I honestly love when they do. He fights with himself too, and then follows her to a restaurant.
Chapter 3 wasn't really too important tbh. You could look back if you wanted to.
Chapter 4: Zayn looks for Addie and demands to know where she is from a random hobo dude. Addie tells Zayn that he really does feel things, he just tells himself that he doesn't. He gets angry because she's right and he storms off.
Chapter 5: Zayn gets all rude and stuff, and he pisses Addie off so she leaves. Four weeks later, she comes back from her springtime holiday break in America. Zayn knows something's up with his feelings. What's happening to him? Um, he misses her...DUH! Zayn meets lil baby cutie Harry. Addie is like "omg zen why are you here?" REMINDER: ZAYN WAS BORN IN 1960
Chapter 6: Zayn admits that he was waiting for Addie to come back the whole time. Zayn lets Addie stay with him again. ZAYN ADMITS THAT HE MISSED HER OMG. That was when I first started fangirling. Addie tells him about college. ZAYN SMILES JNEJNDSJKCNDS
Chapter 7: Addie's point of view. She talks to her mom on the phone. You find out that Addie was insecure and troubled when she was a younger teen (gross high school days), but she's much more comfortable with herself now. Addie's past in America is mentioned.
Chapter 8: Zayn and Addie go shopping. As they're trying to walk in, a car almost hits Addie. Zayn saves her and then acts dumb again. The hobo from Chapter 4 shows up again and pushes Addie out of his way. Zayn gets mad.
Chapter 9: You meet Liam and he's moving furniture into Zayn's flat. Zayn reads to Addie. He sees the bookmark that reads "Gemma 1838".
Chapter 10: Zayn has visions, and I just realized that he hasn't had very many recently. He had a vision of before Gemma met Xavier. She wasn't totally nuts. Zayn sees that Addie is involved with Gemma's bloodline.
Chapter 11: Addie was in Zayn's car on the way to her townhouse or whatever she lives in. Idk a trashcan. JK JK JK. Okay, so yeah and she sees this person covered in blood, but then they disappear. Zayn almost kisses Addie for the first time, but then he chickens out.
Chapter 12-13: Gemma, Xavier, and Evelyn's history. At the end of 13, Zayn and Addie get into a car accident and Addie completely vanishes. She's not even in the car anymore. Whoa.
