~Scarlet's POV~

Okay, to say that I didn't have fun last night with Robert would be a complete lie. He's so awkward that it makes him cute. I learned a little bit more about him, which makes me feel a little bit happier.

"You haven't said much about your family, if you don't mind telling me about them." I cautiously said, taking a quick sip of my Coke.

"Well I really don't see them as much as I would like but I love them." He explained. His eyes held so many emotions throughout his sea blue pupils: sorrow, guilt, and pain. "What about you?"I just awkwardly played with my fingers.

"It's a long, pain-filled story."

A small smile played on my face as I reminisced back to the night before. I don't think I have developed a crush on him, I still don't fully know him. I mean, you can't like someone you don't really know, right?

"Scarlet! Get out of bed, we will be late." Crescent is literally my alarm clock. She is always up at the buttcrack of dawn while I sleep in till at least 9:00. Which is when class is. Oops!

I comb through my straight hair, throw on the first thing I come to which happens to be a t-shirt, and I'm on my way to class. I am really anxious to get to class today so I may or may not leave Cress behind once we reach campus. She loves me too much to get mad at me!

I slow down once I get closer to the laboratory, fix the stray hairs that are sticking up, and stride straight through the door. Everyone was all throughout the room, is talking to all of their new friends they made yesterday.

"Hi there, Scarlet." I turned around to see a girl, one that would always fawn over Robert.

I give her a small smile and wave. I'm really not in the mood to be talkative with her.

"So word has been around that you and Luk-"

Out of nowhere, Robert grabs ahold of me and spins me around. "Scar!" He exclaimed, nuzzling his head into my neck. I laugh at his sudden actions but my mind is occupied with what she was talking about. She was going to call him Luke. But he said that only people from his old town call him that. Not someone who he just met yesterday.

Once he finally set me back down, that girl had stomped off, pissed off that Robert was showing me some affection. I'm not really comfortable with it, considering we aren't even a couple, but he is too cute to say something about it.

"I hope you had some fun last night." Rob nervously scratched his neck.

I grinned watching him fiddle with his nerd glasses, every thought I just had went out the window. "I had a great time with you last night." The bell rang out through the room, telling us that class was about to start.

Exchanging one last glance with Robert, I went straight to my desk and sat down. Like yesterday, he plopped down at the desk right behind me. I smiled to myself, thinking back to the feeling of having his arms wrapped around my body, just minutes ago.

"Okay pupils, get out your textbooks and flip to the page we left off from yesterday." Dr. Christian ordered. He turned around, writing down notes on the chalkboard.

I slid open my notebook and began writing down all of the information that I needed to succeed in this class. Most use their MacBook Air but I'm poor and horrid at typing. It takes me forever to type things out, so I usually jot the stuff down in my overloaded notebook.

While Doctor had his back turned towards us, I felt something being thrown at the back of my head. I spun around to see Robert gesturing to the paper wad he had tossed at me.
