~Scarlet's POV~

*two weeks later*

I grabbed my bag, sunglasses and went down to get some smoothies. It's only one block so I choose to walk from here. Cress is sleeping in this morning considering it's the weekend and she has been working really hard to keep in shape. I've always admired her determination. I could never keep up with all the exercise she does.

The wind was blowing really hard today, causing my hair to fly all over my face. "Are you kidding me." I muttered to myself.

There are a bunch of little shops around here, selling souvenirs for tourists and beach essentials. Every store has their doors wide open, so you can hear the music they are blaring and feel the A/C brushing my arms as I walk by.

"Next up on Sirus XM, the upcoming new band.. 5 Seconds of Summer with She Looks So Perfect!" The radio host exclaims. I haven't heard much about this particular band but I love this song. It has been playing everywhere since I moved down here.

"Rumor has it that the Aussie up comers are staying somewhere in South Carolina but resources aren't confirmed just yet. Now on with She Looks So Perfect!" That would be pretty cool to meet them. I always keep on forgetting to look them up in my spare time.. But I guess I'm with Robert 90% of my free time so I won't remember something that small.

Finally, I made it to Planet Smoothie aka the best smoothie place I've ever been to. There is hardly anyone in here, except for a group of four familiar guys. "Well well, looks like Scarlet walked in just at the right moment, right Robert?" Garrett teased. My head flicked around to see Garrett, James, Zack and Robert.

I shot them all a quick smile and went up to the register to get Cress and I a smoothie. "Hello miss! What could I get for you?" The cashier politely asked.

"Two strawberry banana smoothies, please." I mumbled. He nodded and went straight to the back to start getting everything made. I patiently waited for him to return while I could hear them all conversing rather quietly.

"Don't be such a wienie dude. Just ask her and go on!" James encouraged. Who is he talking about? Wait.. How does James know them so well?

"Fine but you have to come with me!" Robert whispered. I'm so confused. When did they become such good friends?

Before anything else weird happened, the cashier came straight back with my smoothies. "Thank you! Have a great day." He winked, sliding me a piece of paper along with the smoothies. I didn't say anything, I just quickly grabbed it all and went over to the guys.

"Hey Scarlet, where's Cress?" James piped up. Zack smirked at him, but James just ignored him.

"She's back at the apartment, probably still asleep." I shrugged, fixing my bag strap.

His brown eyes looked disappointed as he put his head down. "When do you guys become friends?" I asked, narrowing my eyebrows at all of them. Rob's eyes widened but went back to normal as he gave me an explanation. "Erm we have always been friends but that day you brought us together, we were in a petty fight." He nervously rushed out.

I don't think that's the case but I let it slide. "Scar, could I talk to you in private?" Rob spoke up. I agreed and followed his long strides outside of the smoothie parlor. We started walking down the way I came from the apartment. We were making small talk, as his hand was constantly brushing against my wrist while we walked.

"What did you need?" I questioned.

He pushed up his glasses and awkwardly slipped his hands into his black jeans. "I was wondering if you wanted to go out tonight to Broadway? I mean it doesn't have to be a date unless you want it to be. Yeah." He nervously chuckled. I looked up to see him looking down at me, hope filling his blue eyes.
