~Crescent's POV~

After watching TLC for hours last night I eventually passed out on my bed. Normally you would expect college students to be exhausted after their first day, but I wasn't. I had so much energy and I'm not even sure why.

I forced myself to sit up. I brought my hands to my face to rub my puffy allergy eyes. I walked to the kitchen to eat breakfast. Scarlet was sitting at the kitchen table eating cereal.

"Morning." I yawned as I grabbed the orange juice carton out of the fridge.

She just sat there and stared out the window. I walked over to her and waved a hand in front of her face. Nothing.

"Hey, Scar. You in there?" I asked tilting my head.

"Sorry." She muttered shaking her head.

"What's up with the zoning out?" I laughed.

"There's this weird guy in my class and I can't figure him out." She sighed.

"Yeah there's one like that in mine too." I said thoughtfully as I poured myself a glass of the orange liquid.

"He started to tell me that his name was Luke but then said it's Robert and now I'm really confused." She said getting up and putting her bowl in the sink.

"I haven't said a word to the one in my class. I think Josh called him James." I said scratching the back of my neck.

"I don't know Cress it's just weird." She laughed breathlessly.

She walked back to her room and I finished my glass. I didn't get anything to eat because my stomach suddenly didn't feel like it was eating itself anymore. Lost my appetite. I walked back into my bedroom and stood in front of my mirror while I put on make up and pulled my hair back into a high pony tail with my long bangs hanging out. I wouldn't even call them bangs because they're so long. I threw on an old blue high school shirt with black cotton shorts. After grabbing my bag I jogged to Scarlet's room.

"Hey. You ready?" I asked

"Yeah hold on. I misplaced my phone." She said shuffling through her blankets on her bed. She turned back to face me with her phone in her hand. We walked out of the apartment and walked to the college campus. "You know, now I really want to meet this weird kid you've been talking about." I laughed giving her a slight shove."I dunno." She groaned pulling her bag back up over her shoulder. "Well, I'll see ya later!" I smiled as I walked to my room.

"See ya." She waved

I walked into the classroom to be greeted by the smell of chocolate chip cookies.

"Who made cookies?" I asked with a small smile. "James." Josh said pointing to a boy with dark hair and dark eyes sitting across the room with girls surrounding him. He was wearing a gray hoodie with jeans and sneakers. He nodded in my direction and smiled. I gave a small smile before quickly turning away as I felt my cheeks get hot. He's definitely adorable, but I don't see why those girls are surrounding him..

"Okay, okay everyone. Take a seat and give poor James a break. Calm the hormones girls." Josh laughed.

I rolled my eyes and stifled a laugh as I quickly took my seat. "Today we will be giving out project groups." Josh started. One of the girls actually let out a squeal. You've got to be kidding me.

"I said calm down." Josh sighed throwing an eraser at the girl who squealed. "Anyway. I'm putting you all in pairs to write a song, record it, and play it for the class. This is Tuesday and you have until next Monday. Here are your pairs." He said picking up a list and reading the names.
