~Scarlet's POV~

*one week later*

This past week has been one big festival in hell. I had grown so dependent on Luke and all of them, that I didn't realize how much until I was in too deep. Heck, I don't even know if I'm still in a relationship with him anymore. We never made it official for splitting but I wouldn't say we are broken up. Considering the fact that he called me his girlfriend in front of them sluts last week and has been calling and messaging nonstop, I'd say we are still somehow together. Life is so confusing.

Cress is looking a bit better than she has but I can still see how it's eating at her brain. She is actually eating her breakfast for the first time in four weeks so that's an accomplishment. She is deeply focused on her cooking, not even noticing when I walked into the kitchen. I grabbed a water bottle, slamming the fridge door, which took her out of her trance. "Want some eggs?" She asked, stirring the mixer around in the eggs. I quickly shook my head. I'm not in the mood to eat today. I'm still recovering as Cress is but in different style.

I threw on my comfort shorts, a compression tank top and pulled my hair up into a ponytail. "I'm going to go for a run before class." I hollered. I slid on running tennis shoes and put in my headphones so I was completely prepared. "Bye Crescent!"

I took off running along the sidewalks of the apartment building. I absolutely hate running but if it helps me tone my legs, I'm all for it. As I ran along the streets, I took in the scenery that I had been blind to for the past few weeks. Palm trees, the wonderful sea breeze, smell of salt water and the beaming heat from the sun. I took another deep breath and continued running.

My legs started to feel tired after half an hour of jogging along the coast. So I came to halt and decided to stop in one of these little shops and grab a Gatorade.

I took my headphones out and laid them around my neck and attempted to wipe the sweat off of my face. Maybe running at seven o'clock in the morning wasn't the smartest idea. "Hello, welcome to Wings!" The sales person cheerfully smiled. I smile back, being polite and went to the back of the store and searched around for the reenergizing drink.

Finally I found the refrigerators containing the various amounts of drinks. My eyes scanned along the wall, and came upon the many gatorades. Not caring, I grabbed the closest Gatorade to me, and slipped out my five dollar bill, ready to pay.

I walked over to the cash register, so I could get my drink and back to the apartment so I can shower before class. I don't want to scare people away with my odor. It is definitely not pleasant.

"Is this all mam?" She asked, scanning the bottle. I nodded and handed her my money. The store was rather empty with the exception of a few people. The cashier set my drink down and quickly excused herself, running to the worker bathroom. Well that is really awkward.

"Well what do you want mate? I have been standing here for the past ten minutes like an idiot, carrying these sweets around." I know that voice. I slowly turned around, looking around the store for him. My eyes landed upon the guy that confirmed my assumption. Hopefully Ashton won't notice I'm standing here, waiting for the small bladdered woman to return.

His head snapped around as I flipped my head back, pretending to be looking at a magazine. He better not figure out that it's me. "Are you sure that is all you want? Luke tell Calum, we have spent literally over fifty dollars because you both can't quit moping around like little girls." He chuckled, grabbing a package of sour gummy worms.

"Sorry miss, early stages of being pregnant." She sheepishly smiled, fixing her uniformed pants.

"It's okay, I completely understand."
