~Scarlet's POV~

I actually set my alarm surprisingly last night, even though I completely ignored it. My head is throbbing from all of thoughts exploding within the confined skull. Let's just say that today is probably not going to be the best day to try and mess with me. Why couldn't they tell us the truth? I feel so hurt, played, and naive that I thought I would actually have a chance with a normal guy as perfect as that. I feel worthless.

My alarm rang out for the third time, and I finally decided to shut it off. I saw forty-two notifications as I scrolled down my lock screen. Every single one of them were either Luke or Michael trying to get ahold of me.

"Scarlet, please let me explain. I don't want to be a dick by texting you my explanation instead of talking face to face. Please. ): "

"You mean a lot to me. I have gotten to know you so much these past weeks and I couldn't be happier. Except for the fact that we hid who we truly were. Please meet me in person. "

"Scar, I will do anything."

"Hello there Scarlet. I feel like shit over the whole ordeal but we need to talk to you and Crescent. Btw, it's Michael xx"

Tears welled up in my eyes as I read through some of the messages. It's not fair. Damn.

I decided to look somewhat decent for class today, especially since I will have to see all four of the guys who single handedly crushed our friendship/relationships.

I slid on light wash jean shorts, black strapped sandals and my Spider-Man tanktop. I honestly thought about trashing the shirt last night but I decided against it. No matter what, I still had the best time with him and I couldn't throw out a perfectly fine Spider-Man top.

I combed through my hair, and grabbed my bag along with a loose cardigan in case I get cold. I walked along the silent living room to see Cress, passed out on the couch with salted cheeks. Poor girl. We look like train wrecks today truthfully. I tried to get the bags off from underneath my eyes but they just got darker and darker.

"Crescent you need to get out of bed. We still have class." I cooed, rubbing her hair that was stuck to her forehead.

"I know. I'm dressed but I just fell back onto the couch." She grumbled. She threw the blanket off of her legs and proceeded to slip on a pair of my combat boots. I looked down at my phone and about crapped my pants.

"Cress! It's almost 8:50, we are going to be late!" I shouted in sudden realization. We both ran as fast as we could down to our car.

"Why didn't you tell me that earlier? I wouldn't have slept in an extra hour!" Cress yelled, starting the ignition. I didn't respond, too busy thinking about being late.

We pulled into the campus at a record breaking time; 8:58. We both ran straight to our rooms, trying to beat the tardy bell. I was almost positive that I looked like a dog running in the desert but I'm out of shape. While track star over here, is running like this is nothing for her. As soon as I was within a few feet of the door, the tardy bell rang and Dr. Christian was in the midst of closing the door but I stopped him.

"Running late, Miss Newton?" He smirked. I nodded, not being able to catch my breath. "Please take a seat."

I looked around and everyone was staring at me like I was a foreign creature. Whatever. I felt a pair of eyes, burning into the side of my face. I glanced over at my seat to see that one girl who attempted to talk to me, flirting with Luke. But he paid no attention. He was staring right in my direction. I quickly rolled my eyes and had to take a seat in the very front of the room.
