~Scarlet's POV~

I'm sure I look like absolute crap this morning and I really don't care. I know people are going to be like, "You just started dating. Who cares that he left?" This isn't a regular relationship. Usually if your boyfriend leaves, it's for a week vacation with his family and you know he's coming back. In my case, I have no clue when I'll physically see Luke again. He could come back tomorrow (though I am positive that won't happen), or he could come back in two years. I don't know when he will come and that uncertainty, scares the daylights out of me.

My eyes may be stinging and my body may be numb but I can still feel what's left of the traces Luke made in my skin.

My cheek is still pretty bruised, while Crescent's head is starting to feel a little bit. But I'm sure our constant moping isn't helping us out at all. "Good morning." I grumble, grabbing an apple juice from the refrigerator. Cress must still be asleep because she doesn't answer me, as she lays across the sofa.

You know you feel like crap when all you do is comb your hair and you are ready for class. I didn't even bother to change my clothes and brush my teeth. It's not like I'm here to impress anyone. Crescent somehow managed to peel herself off the couch and do her hair and make-up. We look like we just crawled out of a sewer.

I decided to drive us to campus today, pulling out onto the interstate towards the college. We sat in silence, making me very uncomfortable considering the circumstances. Crescent doesn't even look in my direction, she just rests her head against the window and stares, a bunch of tears threatening to flow.

Heavily sighing, I turned on the radio to one of my favorite radio stations. "You were just listening to 'Sleeping With a Friend' by Neon Trees." I blurred out the radio talk until I heard four names being announced.

"Ashton Irwin, Calum Hood, Michael Clifford, and Luke Hemmings aka Five Seconds of Summer! It has been confirmed that they are attending university in South Carolina. That's a bit strange! Never expected but rumor has it, that they are there for Luke and Calum's girlfriends. How sweet! Now down twenty spots to number two is Kiss Me Kiss Me!"

My brain willed for me to shut off the system but my body was just numb. It hasn't even been a day and we look like they haven't been around for hundreds of years. "Will you please change the station?" Cress finally spoke up. I flipped the off switch on the radio and focused back onto the road.

We pulled into the parking lot to still see the growing amount of fans and paparazzi waiting for the boys that won't come.

I grabbed onto my usual supplies and went on my way to the boring classes. "See you at lunch." I mumbled, splitting away from Crescent. I continued walking but then felt a tap on my lower back. I turned around to see a little girl, waiting patiently with big hopeful eyes.

"Are you Scar?" She nervously asked. I gave her a small smile and nodded.

"What's your name?" I smiled. Instead of having her crane her neck to look at me, I bent down so I could be eye level with her. Her face turned a bright shade of pink as she shyly stared at the ground.

"My name is Anna-Marie." She gave me the cutest smile, showing off the gap in between her teeth.

"Well that's a beautiful name, Anna-Marie. Is your mom here with you?" I asked. She began messing with her little necklace that had 'Anna-Marie' written across it.

"My big sissy brought me here. Kalia said there was a chance that she could see Lukey and Cal's girlfriends."

Her comment made me smile a bit and hug her. "Well, guess what?" I smirked. Anna looked at me patiently, waiting for me to say something. "I'm Lukey's girlfriend." Her eyes brightened and she started jumping up and down.
