*~ Crescent's POV ~*
*~ This chapter is going to be a little long(; ~*
I woke up to Anna tugging on my blankets. "Cress I tried to wake up Scarlet but she sleepy." the little girl exclaimed as she continued to jump up and down, tugging my sheets. I glanced over at my alarm clock to see it was 7:30. I shot up immediately and yelled for Scar to wake up.
"It's 7:30!" I yelled picking up Anna and helping her change into her clothes. I packed her tiny suitcase and handed it to her while I quickly threw on sweat pants and a tee shirt. I pulled my hair back briskly and met Scarlet and Anna at the car. We pulled into the orphanage at 7:58.
Scarlet grabbed Anna and I grabbed her suitcase. We met Mrs. Hepler at the door and handed her stuff over.
"That was fun!" Anna smiled up at Mrs. Hepler.
"That's great dear." Mrs. Hepler smiled back at her. Anna skipped back into the orphanage up to her room. "Can you girls come to my office?" Mrs. Hepler smiled.
"Of course." I nodded following her into her office. Scarlet walked beside me giving me a questioning look, which told me she was thinking the same thing I was. What's going on? Scar and I took a seat on a small couch in front of Mrs. Hepler's desk.
"So I did a little research on you girls. Is it correct that you're both in relationships with two boys from the band Five Seconds of Summer?" She asked, shifting some papers on her desk.
"Yes." Scarlet nodded.
"Look, I think you both are great girls. I searched your school records and everything to know that you've both been top of your classes. You seem very well based and strong minded. If you would like to adopt the girls, I can make some changes to the adopting rules." She said softly. Scarlet and I just sat there in shock. We can't adopt these girls.. Adopting a child means a lot of work.. They need time, care, and love. I don't even have the time to hardly take care of myself. Plus, how are we supposed to raise two kids, the way we live? These kids need a mother and father.. Not two college students with boyfriends.
"Mrs. Hepler.. We love these girls, but I don't think we're fit to adopt them. I'm sorry." Scarlet sighed.
"I understand. You two can think about it." She smiled. We nodded and walked back to our cars.
"Cress, we can't adopt them and I feel awful." Scarlet sighed, starting the engine.
"I know. It's horrible. I hate seeing them live like that but what are we supposed to do?" I asked rubbing my face with my fingertips.
"I think we should just forget about it until we get back from Amsterdam." Scarlet nodded.
"Okay. So the boys really don't think we're coming yet? They think you're sick?" I laughed.
"Mhmm. I can't wait to see the look on Luke's face." She giggled. I smiled and leaned back in the seat. The car ride home seemed to take forever. When we got inside, we started packing. Our flight was scheduled to leave at noon so we needed to get to the airport at nine. It was already 8:46, so we rushed around trying to keep from forgetting anything. "Ready?" Scarlet asked grabbing the keys.
"Ready." I sighed, dragging my luggage behind me. We put everything in the car before heading to the airport. "I'm kind of nervous, Scar." I laughed.
"Why?" She asked, confused.
"Well, it's the first time I'm seeing Calum in months.. And since he's known about the almost-suicide." I smiled.
"It'll be fine." She smiled. "We finally get to see one of their concerts."
