~Scarlet's POV~

Three and a half months have gone by achingly slow. We still haven't seen the boys since the day they left to travel around the world, on tour. Text messages are becoming shorter and less as the days fly past us. Calls are always cut short by screaming and amazing fans or constant interviews and shows. Don't get me wrong, I'm so proud of what the boys have achieved and I am the luckiest girl to be in this situation but, I just want my boyfriend.

We only have one more week of classes, then we're out for the summer. Crescent and I visit Anna and Kalia practically everyday and take them out for dinner or take them over here so Cress can fix us lunch. These girls are so lovely and I hope they get adopted soon. Since Kalia is a massive fan of the boys, I decided to let her talk to them nice whenever Luke called to check up on me.

"I'm not going to class today." Crescent grumbled.

Going to class has been agonizing lately, because we had final exams last week but the entire time of this week, is doing absolutely nothing.

"To be honest, I'm not going the rest of the week." I stated.

I wanted to take Anna-Marie and Kalia to the mall so they could buy new clothes today. They are stuck wearing clothes from this really old store, that have stains all over them from god knows what. Kalia is only sixteen and is having to take on the role of a mother and a sister to Anna. She needs to feel like she is an actual sixteen year old girl, not some fifty year old homeless woman.

I told Crescent about what I planned on doing and she automatically agreed, going to her room to get ready.

I went to my room and turned on the shower. I peeled my night clothing off of my body and stepped into the now relaxing shower. I stood there for a moment, just thinking. The boys are so busy, why are they still dating us? I love being in a relationship with Luke but if they are never here or see us, what would be the point of being together? Obviously they must like us as much as they say because, there's no way they would stay with us for this long, and so far away.

Shaking the irrelevant thoughts out of my head, I quickly rinsed the green apple scented shampoo out of my hair and turned off the shower. I'm not moping around missing the guys anymore, thankfully. As much as I like them, I don't think it would be the same if I constantly saw them. Absence makes the heart grow fonder and I'm a firm believer on that.

I went into my closet and grabbed an old hometown hoodie, light washed jeans and my converse. It's kind of chilly down here surprisingly so I wore my hair down and naturally straight. I shot Luke a text saying that I hope he has a great day and went into the living room to wait for Crescent.

I'm not that girlfriend who waits impatiently by my phone for a text or call. I know he's busy so I don't want to bother him while he's working. Work is more important than me at the moment because they are blowing up everywhere. They are getting massive over here in America, I can't imagine their hometown.

Once she was finally ready, Cress grabbed the car keys and we were off to the orphanage. "Why do you think they are in the orphanage? Because their parents passed away or didn't want them?" Crescent asked.

"I really don't know. I don't want to pry into their lives because they are miserable enough as it is. Whenever Kalia feels like talking about it, I'm sure she'll tell us." I sighed. Cress nodded along, letting her mind focus back onto the road.

We pulled up to the run-down building, many kids playing on the worn-out swing sets and slides. Immediately, I spotted Anna-Marie sitting in the grass all by herself, picking at purple flowers. Kalia was sitting on the house porch, sitting next to a boy around her age. Her face was definitely glowing, as she tossed a crumpled up paper from her notebook at him.
