      "Rebound! Rebound! REBOUNNNNDDD!" the crowd begged in unison shouting. "James Greene usually is the best player among his team, but this is definitely not his game today!" the MC commented. The game was close to the end, the score was 52 against 61. The bigger score for the New English school team.

[Break]

       "What the hell is wrong with you Greene! Usually nilalampaso mo sila ah! Ano nangyare??" (*You defeat them easily! What happened? *Take note: "Nilalampaso" is a slang language) their coach was pissed. He rubbed his temples trying to avoid raising his blood pressure. "Umayos ka ha! Naku baka ma'dispel ako sa school sa pagbugbog sa isang studyante. Keep your shit straight! Or else I might really hurt you for real!" (*Be good! I might get dispel from school for hitting a student)

"Okay, couch." James mumbled; he glanced at Kevin's direction. "Kev, nakita mo ba si Cass with Helen?" (*Did you see Cass with Helen?)

Kevin shook his head, "Si Helen lang eh." (*Only Helen)

"Tsk! I knew it! She wouldn't come." He was disappointed, and then headed to the court.

         Cassy was late. She debated with herself if she should go or not. But at the last minute, she felt guilty and decided to make a hasty cartolina. She made Mahmod rive real fast to reach their school that afternoon. She saw Helen and waved at her, "So how's the game?"

"Ugh. It sucks! James is so not in the mood! OMG! Kevin scored again." She exclaimed. Kevin and his other teammates tried to play better for James' slacking.

"Oh gosh. I thought he was joking." She mumbled guiltily.

       It was now 53 VS 65. "Tawagan mo na kase para umayas yang kapre na yan!" (*Just call him already so that kapre would do better. *Kapre – is a huge creature living in the trees or their equivalent in the English world is "giants") Helen told her. "Ehh, na delete ko na number niya eh." (*I already deleted his number)

       Helen rolled her eyes, "Sus! If I know memorize mo din yan by heart eh." (*If I know, you memorize his number by heart) her best friend knows her so well. 54 VS 67; "YA! UMAYOS KA JAMES GREENE HA!!! KUNG AYAW MO MAMATAY NG MAAGA!!!" (*Fix yourself James Greene if you don't want to die early!) she shouted loudly, everyone glanced at her direction. He saw her from the crowd. She put her hair in a ponytail, wearing a simple white t-shirt, jeans and boots. His girlfriend looked hot. He smugly smiled.

      After that, he got his groove back. The score was now 65 VS 67. Everyone was shouting for a three pointer. The enemy was blocking him from the view; everyone was really guarding him well. He looked at Cassy, "WHERE'S THE CARTOLINA??" He shouted. "IN HERE!" she replied.

"DO YOU LOVE ME MISS MONROE?"

"Y-YES!"

        "REALLY??" he passed the ball to Kevin, who also couldn't move because he was being guarded too. It was as if he was playing with everyone's emotions, when he can easily win the game. He just wanted to tease Cassy and get the answer that he craved for.
