5. Fun

Juliet's POV:

" Sirius I'm home!" I announce coming through the door. Ced chuckles. Me, Ced, the twins and Nikki were the only ones who came home for thanksgiving. "Where is my sister!?" Nikki shouts her voice echoing through the house. Sirius and Claire come down the steps. " Hey kids..." Sirius says. I hug him. He kisses my forehead. "Nikki, Juliet, we have something we need to talk about." Claire says. "Actually I think there's something you two should tell us first." Nikki says placing her hand on her hips. "What are you talking about Nikki?" Claire asks and shifts slightly. Nikki just stares at her annoyed. " Claire I think she knows..." Sirius says. I raise an eyebrow. "I'm... Pregnant." Claire says smiling slightly. I squeal. " I'm so happy for you!" I exclaim. I hug her lightly. "I'm gonna be an aunt!" Nikki exclaims. "Now we're going to have that talk." Claire says. "Seriously?! But..." Nikki complains. "No talking back." Claire says sternly. "And her motherly side has started." Nikki says jokingly as we follow her to an empty room. I giggle. " So what is it?" I ask. "So I heard about what happened to Jay and Ced and I wanted to just talk about taking precautions." She says. "And I'm out." Nikki says turning to leave. "Nikki stay!" Claire says. Nikki turns back around. "I'm not a dog." She whines.

"I've already put you on birth control and I think we should consider putting you on it Juliet." Claire starts. " I already am..." I say. " So I'm out..." I say. "Stay." She says pointing to the spot where I was standing. I groan. " The worst part is I am a dog..." I groan out. Nikki laughs under her breath. "Well the birth control doesn't always work every time or there might be a day where you forget to take it so that's why it's good to also use a condom." Claire says and Nikki shifts uncomfortably. I look own and bite my lip. "Oh no... What's that look for?" Claire asks me. " I may or may not have not used any protection..." I say still looking down. "We're you on birth control at the time?" Claire asks. " No..." I mumble. "Oh my God! Come with me." Claire says leading me upstairs. " Where are we going?" I ask. She pulls me into a bathroom. She rummages through her cabinet. She pulls out a box and hands it to me. "Take this." She says and walks out. It was a pregnancy test. I shake my head.

I pee on it and wait. It was negative. I throw it away and walk out. "What did it say?" Claire asks. " Negative..." I say. She let's out a sigh of relief. "Just please be careful next time." She says. " I will..." I say. Truthfully I haven't been taking the pills as often as I should. She nods and I walk downstairs. I see Nikki and Fred cuddling on the couch. Mr. Diggory comes in. " Awe Juliet, hello dear..." He says hugging me. " Hi dad..." I say. " You make me feel old calling me dad..." He says pulling away. I giggle. Nikki and Fred of course are paying no attention whatsoever as he kisses her nose and she scrunches it up and giggles. I laugh at them. Ced walks in. " Hey baby..." He says. " Hey..." I respond. He kisses me softly for a few seconds. " Thanksgiving dinner will be done in ten minutes..." Mrs. Weasley announces. I realize how Nikki and Fred are sitting on the couch. Their legs are tangled together and unless they have sex I don't think they can't go any closer. " You two! Stop that!" Mrs. Weasley shouts. " These two are the normal ones for once..." She says pointing at me and Ced. Nikki laugh at that comment. "We're just cuddling Mrs. Weasley it's fine." She says. " Still... Go wash up..." She says. Nikki groans and she and Fred pull away and go upstairs. I giggle. " You two go to the kitchen..." Mrs. Weasley says.

Ced and I go to the kitchen. Sirius, Claire, Lupin, Mr. Weasley and Tonks were sitting there. " Hey guys..." I say. I hear a muffled moan come from upstairs. I giggle. I hear Mrs. Weasley yelling. Claire rolls her eyes. " They say we're bad..." Ced says. Claire, Sirius and Lupin give us a 'we know better' look. Nikki and Fred run into the kitchen blushing and sit at the table. " Have fun?" I ask smirking. "We were just making out..." Nikki says quietly looking down. I giggle. " Sure you were..." Ced says chuckling. Sirius shoots him a look. I can tell he's not happy. I look down. "You can feel the tension." Nikki says acting as if she's touching something in the air. I giggle let lightly. Lupin and Sirius laugh. "See I'm funny." Nikki says doing a peace sign. I laugh. Mr. Diggory comes into the kitchen. Sirius straightens up. I realize he's hiding it from Mr. Diggory. Nikki raises an eyebrow and crosses her arms. I glare at her. She better not say a word. Oh wait she can read my mind. Nikki you better not say a word. She bites her lip to try not to laugh. Mrs. Weasley comes in with a turkey on a plate. Bill, Charlie and George follow with bowls of food. Nikki looks as if she wants to laugh so bad. We all start to fill our plates. I pile mine high and start to dig in. Ced chuckles. "Nikki you took your meds right?" Claire asks. Nikki nods. She places a decent amount of food onto her plate. I just continue to stuff my face. "Jeez! Slow down!" Nikki says giggling. " Never..." I say my mouth full of food. " Juliet Potter where are your manners..." Mrs. Weasley scolds. I swallow my food. " sorry..." I say. "Yeah manners Juliet." Nikki sticks her tongue out at me. " Nicolette that was not necessary..." Mrs. Weasley scolds her. I burst out laughing. "It was very necessary." Nikki says with an innocent smile.
