43. Decorating on Your Birthday

Juliet's POV:
Mrs. Weasley put me on baking duty. Ced wouldn't let me decorate. I was trying not to get frosting on my white shirt.

I had an extra cupcake so I put a candle in it. Since everything has been so busy I don't think anyone realized it was my birthday. I sit down at the burrow kitchen counter and put a candle in it. I pull out my wand. " Incindio..." I say. The candle is now lit. " Happy birthday Jay..." I say and then blow out my candle. "Happy birthday Jay..." Nik says coming up behind me. I turn around.

(Nikki's outfit)
" You might be the only one who remembered besides Harry..." I say. "I'm sorry..." She says giving me a small smile. " It's alright the wedding is tomorrow... Everyone is focused on that..." I say. The only reason I was disappointed was because Ced didn't remember. We woke up this morning and he acted like it was any other day. She wraps an arms around my shoulders to comfort me. I see what's in her mind. I smirk. " So your trying for baby now?" I ask laughing. "What? No." She lies pulling away. " Nik I saw your thoughts you cannot lie..." I say giggling. That's when Ced walks in. I look down. Yeah I'm mad at him. It's not everyday your boyfriend forgets your birthday. Nikki seems to focus on Ced for a second. His eyes widen. "Oh uh Happy birthday baby..." He says looking down ashamed. " It's what ever..." I say and then take a bite of the cupcake. "It's not whatever. I'm sorry." He says looking at me. Nikki walks outside. " It's fine everyone is busy with the wedding... I understand..." I say getting up. "No I shouldn't have forgotten. I'm a horrible boyfriend... Actually a horrible fiance for forgetting." He says. "Ced... Like I said it's fine... Only Nik remembered really because Harry only remembered because it's his birthday too..." I say. "No I should have known..." He says looking down. I walk to him. " Ced you've been really stressed... You had to help the Weasley's move out... You've been worried about me... I don't blame you..." I say. "I really am sorry..." He says. " Don't be everyone is stressed believe me... We have a baby coming in about five months... I have to get that house baby proofed... I also have to paint the nursery and decorate it... I have to get rid of all of the dark arts things we didn't before so the baby doesn't mess with one of Sirius's parents cursed stuff... I'm just as stressed as you are and I have to do all of that by myself which is hard enough but I have to do it pregnant..." I say letting it all out. "If you just talk to me I'll help you. I can help with all that stuff. You just need to talk to me." He says cupping my cheek. " Ced you have to go back to work in a month... Fred and George offered to help but Fred and Nikki might be having a baby..." I say it before I realize what just came out of my mouth. He looks at me confused. "What do you mean they might be having a baby?" He asks. " They tried last night..." I say biting my lip. "They what?" He asks. Great... I've awaken the protective brother. " They didn't use birth control last night and had sex..." I say looking down. "Why would they do that?" He asks. " Why do we do that? It's because they want a baby! We have no room to judge them! And I swear to god Cedric if you say a thing about this!" I say sternly pointing my finger at him. "But what about the 'ultimate power'? Do you really think she's ready to face something like that?" He asks. " I'm done talking about this with you! If Nikki wants a baby she wants a baby! It's none of my business and it is certainly is not yours!" I shout poking his chest. I was letting the hormones and stress take over. I was pissed. "I'm just worried that she's going to get hurt." He mutters looking at the ground. " It was her choice! I'm not going to be the one to tell her she can't have a kid! I'm done arguing about this! I just need to go somewhere and cool down!" I shout ripping off my appron and throwing it on the counter. "Jay I'm sorry..." He says looking at me. " Just all of this stress isn't good for me and yet I'm in a hell of a lot of it..." I say angrily. "I'm sorry..." He says again. I sigh. " It's not your fault... It's just everything..." I say. "I know but I wish I could help..." He says sighing. " I just need to relieve some stress..." I say. He looks like an idea pops to his head. "I can help you with that tonight." He whispers. I bite my lip. " I would like that..." I say smirking. He smirks back and leans in to kiss me. "Fred told me to come help you..." Nikki trails off as she sees us. "Umm... I'm interrupting something aren't I?" She asks. I giggle. " Like always..." I say laughing. "Sorry... I'll just leave then..." She says turning around. I turn back to Ced. " Now where were we?" I ask. "She's doing something." I hear Nik say as she goes outside. Ced rolls his eyes and grabs my waist. I smirk at him. I wrap my arms around his neck. "Would you two get to work..." Mr. Diggory says as he carries something outside. I groan. " I guess pregnant girls don't get a break..." I say laughing. He chuckles. "Just finish up any other baking and decorating and then you can sit until we are all done." He says kissing my head. " I have three hours of decorating... I'm not going to get a break..." I say. "I'll send Nik in here. She can help." He says. " I got it... I have specific instructions and I'm horrible at relaying instructions..." I say sighing. I bite my lip. "I just don't want you to stress as much. It's not good for you or the baby." He says rubbing my stomach. " I know but I promised Fleur..." I say. "I think Fleur will be okay with Nikki helping with some of the baking." He says. " The baking itself is done... I just have to decorate the cake which is a one person job..." I say. He sighs. "If you need a break come tell me and Nik can come take your place for a bit." He says. I nod. " Now you have some lifting to do..." I say sighing. He sighs and nods. He walks upstairs to get something. I get to work.

Time skip...
I had just finished decorating the cake. I was so glad it was done.

Ced walks into the kitchen as I'm examining my work. He walks up behind me. "You did good." He says. " Thanks... You guys done?" I ask. "Yeah." He says. Then Fred walks in with a sleeping Nikki in his arms. "She kept falling asleep on the job." Fred says chuckling. I shake my head and laugh. Fred takes her up to bed. I turn to Ced. " How about that stress relief?" I ask smirking. He chuckles. He leads me upstairs to our old room since we have to stay at the Weasley's for tomorrow. I sit on the bed and bite my lip. He lays me on the bed and hovers over me. I smirk at him. He presses his lips to my neck. I moan and wrap my arms around his neck. He quickly strips both of us. He's not wasting time. " Eager aren't we..." I say laughing. He chuckles. "Very..." He says lining up at my entrance. " Fuck me already..." I beg. I needed it. I needed him. He pushes into me groaning. " Fuck..." I moan out arching my back. He quickly picks up his pace as he massages my breasts. " Ced..." I moan out loudly. "Oh Jay..." He moans and he thrusts harder. " Fuck yes..." I moan out. He lifts his hand and brings it back to my thigh. " Yes! Fuck yes!" I scream out. He groans pushing deeper into me then slaps my thigh again. I claw into his back. " Oh yes! Fuck me harder!" I scream out. He does as told and pounds into me harder. "Jay!" He moans loudly. " Ced! Oh yes!" I scream out. "Fuck!" He moans out gripping the sheets underneath my head. " Fuck yes!" I scream out clawing deeper into his back and throwing back my head. His thrusts slowly become sloppy. " Yes! Fuck yes! I'm close!" I scream out. "Me too!" He moans. He thrusts deeply into me one last time and releases. "Oh fuck Jay!" He screams out. This pushes me over the edge. " Oh fuck yes Ced!" I scream out as I release onto him. He moans in response. I bury my face in his collar bone as I try to catch my breath. He slowly pulls out of me. " Wow..." I breath out. "Yeah..." He breaths and falls to my side. I turn on my side. " I've missed that... We've been so busy..." I say tracing his chest with my finger. "I know... I've missed it too..." He says smiling at me. "Just so you know you woke me up!" I hear Nikki yell. "Nikki shut up and go back to sleep." Fred says chuckling. It's silent after that. I giggle. " Oh Nikki..." I say shaking my head. " I'm going to miss you so much when you go back to school next month..." I say. "I'll miss you too... I wish you could come but with the baby I understand..." He says placing a hand on my stomach. I put my hand over his. " I just can't wait till Christmas when you can come home..." I say softly. There's a soft kick. I giggle. He smiles. "We should get some sleep. We have a lot going on tomorrow." He says kissing my head. I sigh. " If I can sleep..." I say. The baby kept me up last night. "I'll be here..." He says holding me close. " The nightmares aren't the reason Ced..." I say softly. "What is it?" He asks. " Our little girl is quite active..." I say looking at him. "Oh..." He says. " Nothing I can do about that... She'll probably be a great quidditch player when she's older..." I say laughing. He laughs lightly. "Well you should try to get some sleep." He says cupping my cheek. " I'll try..." I say leaning into his touch. I snuggle into him. "Goodnight baby..." He whispers. " Goodnight Ced..." I say. I feel him fall asleep. As soon as I think I'm about to fall asleep there's a hard kick. I wince. God I hope I didn't wake him. He moves slightly in his sleep. I try to fall asleep. He atleast needs to sleep. I hate having to be the reason he doesn't. The baby has other plans because there's another hard kick. A whimper of pain escapes my mouth. Ced opens his eyes slightly. "You okay baby?" He asks still half asleep. " Yeah just go back to sleep..." I say trying to hide the pain in my voice. "No what's wrong?" He asks trying to wake himself up. " It was just a hard kick... Just go back to sleep..." I say. I don't want him to loose sleep because of me. He places a hand on my stomach and starts to massage it softly. He's trying to soothe the baby. I snuggle into him. I soon fall asleep.
