37. Disruption

Juliet's POV:

I was heading to defense against the dark arts with Nik. " So how was your week with Fred?" I ask. "Good. Aside from the fact that he had to leave." Nik says in the bored voice she usually has when Fred isn't around. " I know..." I say. She sighs and looks at the ground. We both walk into the classroom. Ced and I hadn't been alone for long since that night. Nikki takes her seat and pulls out her book then looks at the ground annoyed. This is the perfect mood for my plan. " Nik what time is it?" I ask. "I don't know." She says shrugging. " I'm bored..." I say. "Yeah... Me too..." She says. " How many days till school is over?" I ask pointlessly. "I don't know... But I hope it's not many..." Nikki answers. " Do you think Bill and Fleur will get married?" I ask trying to get her annoyed. "I think they will. My bets on this summer." She says. " Cool... I want potatoes..." I say. "I... Really don't care..." She says shaking her head. " What they're good..." I say. "Okay...?" She says and rolls her eyes. " I'm just trying to have a conversation that's all..." I say. "Okay... Then conversate. Just don't be annoying. I'm not in the mood." She says as she looks over her book. " I'm never annoying..." I say trying to be as annoying as I can. Nik gives me this look and then rolls her eyes. "You are right now..." She says huffing. " How?" I ask. "By not shutting up..." She says. " Maybe I don't want to shut up..." I say. She huffs and rolls her eyes looking at her book. " Come on Nik... I barely saw you for a week the least you could do is talk to me..." I say. "I don't want to talk to you about potatoes... It's one thing to talk about our lives or family but not potatoes..." She says annoyed. " I only said I wanted potatoes jeese..." I say. "I'm just saying... I'm not really in the best of moods right now..." She says. " And I'm trying to make that better but you're being impossible..." I say trying to set her off. "That's because you have your boyfriend but I don't..." She says. I could tell she's getting annoyed. " Well I'm sorry Fred didn't get offered a job as a teacher... It's not my fault..." I huff. "It's not about the job they have. It's the fact that you seem to be purposely trying to get detentions now when you have a friend that has been alone so much lately." Nik says angrily. " What is that supposed to mean!" I shout. This finally catches the attention of Ced. "It means that you are trying to..." Nik stops herself. I think she was about to say something about us having sex. "Professor can I go to the bathroom?" She asks glaring at me. " No I want to know what's going on..." He says crossing his arms. "She won't shut up!" Nik says angrily. "I can't stay here. I really don't care if I get a detention or something." Nik says and storms out of the classroom. I huff and roll my eyes. " Nothing..." I say. "Juliet your going to have to tell me..." He says looking at me. " It's nothing..." I say being stubborn. "Well I'm going to have to give you and Nikki both detentions." He says walking to his desk. I cross my arms and roll my eyes. Nikki still hasn't came back.I suddenly don't feel well. I raise my hand. " Professor..." I call. "Yes Juliet?" He asks turning to face me. " I feel sick..." I say. I felt really hot as well. "Do you need to go to the hospital wing?" He asks. " Yes..." I say quickly. If I don't get out of here I'm going to puke on this desk. "Okay..." I hear him say as I walk out quickly.

I vomit as soon as I hit the hall. I fall to the ground once I finish. I run a hand through my hair and lean against the wall as I sit. Nikki walks to me. "Jay!" She exclaims falling next to me. I look over at her. " I didn't feel well so I asked to go to the hospital wing... I didn't make it far..." I say. "Here." Nik stands and holds her hands out for me. I take it and stand slowly. I smile at her. " Thanks..." I say. She nods slightly with a small smile. " Will you come with me to see Madame Pomphrey? You'll have to tell Ced you're going but I need someone to go with me... Maybe get him out here for a sec so I can tell him..." I say. She nods and walks into the classroom. Soon she walks out with Ced. "Is everything alright?" He asks. " I just threw up... I wanted to know if I can take Nik with me..." I say. I didn't feel sick this morning. I don't know what's going on. "Sure. She can help you." He says. " Thank you..." I say and then grab Nik's hand. We walk to the hospital wing quickly. "So this just started suddenly?" Nik asks as we walk. " Yeah..." I say. "Maybe something you ate or just a stomach bug." She says. " Yeah I'm sure it's fine..." I say. We walk into the hospital wing. " Ms. Potter is everything alright?" Madame Pomphrey asks. " I puked..." I say. She takes me over to a bed. She runs some tests and walks to her desk. She comes back. " Ms. Farron will you wait outside?" She asks. "Uh... Sure..." Nik says and walks out. " Ms. Potter all my tests have come back the same... You're a month pregnant..." She says. My mouth drops open. " I want you to take these..." She says handing me some vitamins. I nod. " You may go..." She says. I stand and put the vitamins in my robe. I walk out where Nik is waiting I smile at her. " I got food poisoning... She wasn't sure if I wanted to share that with you..." I lie. "Your lying..." She says crossing her arms. " No I'm not..." I say. "Yes you are. What is wrong?" She asks concerned. " I'm pregnant..." I admit running a hand through my hair. "Really?" She asks shocked. " Yeah... I'm about a month..." I say. She pulls me into a hug. I hug her back. " I just don't know how to tell Ced... This could get him fired..." I say. "Shh... It'll all work out. We don't have to tell anyone else besides him." She says rubbing my back. I nod. " By the way you have detention tomorrow with him..." I tell her since she wasn't there. I have it tonight. "I knew I was going to get a detention from walking out." She mumbles. I giggle lightly. I sigh. " Mines tonight... Probably because he wants to fuck but I don't really feel in the mood for sex..." I say. "Maybe you can tell him tonight." She says looking into my eyes. " Maybe..." I say. "Life is rough when you date older guys. It's even worse when you are engaged to them." Nik says laughing slightly. I giggle. " Yeah... We better go we have McGonagall..." I say. Nikki groans and slowly walks back to Ced's class to get her stuff. I follow her to grab mine. It was Ced's free period so he was alone and looking over papers. I start to gather my own stuff. Nikki slings her bag over her shoulder and starts to walk. She trips over a chair but catches herself. "I'm okay..." She says giggling slightly. This catches Ced's attention. I look down not wanting to look him in the eye. "Sorry... We were just trying to get our stuff to head to our next class." Nik says. Ced nods and looks over at me. I just gather my stuff saying nothing. I can't tell him yet. "Bye Cedric." Nik says and opens the door. I glance at him and then walk to Nik. I bite my lip. He better not call after me. "Juliet!" He calls. Damnit. I turn around and walk back into the classroom. " Yes?" I ask. "Are you feeling okay?" He asks. " I'm better now..." I lie. Truly I still felt sick. Just now I know why. "It's just something she ate. Now we have to go..." Nik says. Ced nods and glances at me one last time before looking back at his papers. I walk out with Nik. " Thank you..." I say. "Of course... You may make me angry sometimes but your me best friend." She says with a small smile. I giggle. We walk to class quickly.
