29. Christmas Break

Nikki's POV:

I am sitting on the train with Juliet and Ced across from me as we head home for Christmas. I am staring out the window. Juliet seemed unhappy. Ced was sitting far from her since he was a teacher. I have five gallons ready in my pocket for Fred when I get off the train. Juliet sighs.

" Nikki can I talk to you real quick?" She asks getting up.

"Sure..." I say getting up. We walk just outside of the compartment.

" Can we please stop being angry at each other? I need my best friend. I've already lost so much and I can't loose you too..." She says.

"Your not losing me. I'm just irritated." I say sighing.

" I know... I'm sorry..." She says looking down.

"It's whatever..." I say. She hugs me.

" I've missed you..." She says.

"I've missed you too. But I've missed him too." I say hugging back.

" Not that long till you see him..." She says pulling away. She smiles at me.

"I know. It's just hard without him here." I say with a slight smile.

" I know... But hey you always have me..." She says putting a comforting hand on my shoulder.

"When your not fucking your boyfriend." I say.

" I don't have detention that often..." She says.

"No but you find ways." I say.

" No I don't..." She says.

"You will." I say. She laughs. That's when the train stops.

" We're staying at the Weasley's for a week then going home right?" Juliet asks.

"I'm staying at my apartment but I'll be there Christmas day." I explain. She looks confused.

" Then why did George send me a letter telling us to do that cause you guys were?" She says.

"Fred told me we're staying at the apartment." I say confused.

" Maybe plans changed because I got the letter this morning..." She says shrugging.

"Maybe George doesn't want to stay at the apartment with me and Fred because how loud we are." I say laughing. She giggles.

" I guess we will find out soon..." She says. Ced brings our trunks out. We all walk off the train. I spot Fred.

"Freddie!" I call running to him. He catches me in his arms.

" Well hello beautiful!" He says smiling. I smile wrapping my arms around his neck. He kisses me for a few seconds then pulls away. He sets me down. " Just so you know our plans changed... Mum and Dad are going on a short vacation with Ced's parents so we have to watch the house and Sirius...." Fred says.

"Okay. Is Sirius back at the burrow?" I ask.

" Yeah he is... Mum and dad will leave when we get there..." Fred says.

"Okay." I say smiling. I'm kinda disappointed me and Fred won't get to be alone but I guess I'll suck it up.

" Since no parents we will be able to... Do things..." Fred says. " Plus Jay and Ced will be there to watch the baby while we are busy..." He adds.

"Fred have you planned this whole break out?" I ask with a amused smile.

" The fun stuff..." He says winking. I roll my eyes giggling as my cheeks turn slightly red.
