15. Pregnant?

Juliet's POV:

We walk downstairs. We go into the living room where everyone is. " Claire... Dads? Can we talk to you?" I ask. "Yeah. Are you okay?" Claire asks. " Can we go somewhere more private?" I ask. "Sure." All three say. They get up and follow us away from the others. We go upstairs to Sirius's office. I sit on his couch and Ced sits next to me. God I was nervous. "Are you two okay?" Mr. Diggory asks. " Ced's fine..." I say running a hand through my hair. I wasn't. No I was knocked up. "What about you?" Sirius asks. I look down and close my eyes. " I'm pregnant..." I say. I had to get it out there. "What?" All three of them say shocked. "How do you know?" Claire asks. " I took a test, my periods three weeks late, I've been sick multiple times and today I swore I felt a kick..." I say then bite my lip. "I thought you were on the pill and you were using condoms like we asked." Mr. Diggory says. " I am on the pill but we weren't using condoms... I broke out when we tried..." I say putting my face in my hands. Claire sits next to me and pulls me into a hug. I lean into her. I start to cry. "Shh..." She whispers. "We'll go to a hospital tomorrow to get it checked out for sure." She says rubbing my back. Sometimes I wonder if hers and Nikki's minds are linked. " I can't believe this is happening..." I whisper. Ced hasn't said anything which is worrying me. Then he takes my hand in his. "It'll all be fine." Claire says. I squeeze Ced's hand. That's when I feel a kick. My hand moves to my stomach. "You okay?" Claire asks pulling away. " I think I just felt a kick..." I say looking down at my stomach. "You sure you never noticed signs until recently? Because if your feeling movement then your probably three months pregnant by now." Claire says. " I did puke two weeks ago... And I missed my period last month but I'm irregular so... I just realized when I got pregnant..." I say as it dawned on me. I got pregnant on Ced's birthday. "So your about as pregnant as I am. Just a few weeks less." Claire says. I sigh. " To be exact I got pregnant on October 31st..." I say. "Ced's birthday." Mr. Diggory mutters. "You know that for sure?" Claire asks. " It was the only time we did anything without any protection... I wasn't on the pill then..." I say. Claire nods. "Okay we'll keep this between us. Like I said we'll go see a doctor tomorrow." Claire says standing up. " Nikki knows..." I say. "Okay that I expected." She says. I sigh. Sirius hasn't said anything about it. " She found out my suspicions through my thoughts and she was there when I took the test..." I say. I lean against Ced. I needed him most right now. We were having a baby. I can't believe I'm actually having a baby. He kisses my head. "It's all going to be okay." Ced whispers to me. I give him a small sad smile. "Trust me." He says and pecks my lips. I smile a little bit bigger this time and nod. I'm just waiting for my dad to say something. Anything. "So... Uh wow this is shocking... I'm not sure what to say or even do." Mr. Diggory says. He's sitting in a chair across from us. " Tell me about it..." I say. I am the one who just found out they were pregnant. Mr. Diggory pinches his nose. "All this is unexpected." He says. " I know..." I say with a sigh. I here a knock on the door. "Is everything okay in here?" Nikki asks behind the door. I look up at the door. " You can come in..." I say. She opens the door. "Go back downstairs. I'll be right down." She says pointing at someone. "But I..." Fred starts. "No. Go." She says. She walks in shuts the door. "Jesus that guy is going to kill me." She says. "Is everything alright?" She asks. " We told them..." I say. "That's what I was assuming." She says nodding. I sigh and close my eyes. I lean into Ced again and squeeze his hand slightly. I can't believe this is happening. "Listen maybe we should go downstairs open gifts then go to sleep and we'll get this all figured out tomorrow. There's been a lot of stress so we should all be allowed to calm down and relax." Nikki suggests. I nod. " I'm going to go change first..." I say standing. "Okay." Nik says then walks downstairs with the others walking behind her.

I go into my room. I unzip my dress and it falls around my feet. I go infront of the long mirror. I turn to the side and realize how much I'm actually showing. I sigh and go to get my leggings. I pull them on and then grab the sweater Ced got from Mrs. Weasley last Christmas. I pull it on. I look in the mirror. You can't tell I'm showing. Good. I go downstairs and sit next to Ced on the couch. "Okay who's ready for presents?" Mrs. Weasley asks walking in. " Sure..." I say trying to sound cheerful. Nikki takes my hand and squeezes it slightly as she sits in between me and Fred. She looks at me giving me a reassuring smile. "Okay." Mrs. Weasley says. I grab Ced's hand and squeeze it lightly. I lean against his shoulder. I'm trying to look happy but it's hard. Mrs. Weasley goes to hand Fred and George their presents but doesn't know which is which. Nikki giggles slightly at this. Mrs. Weasley just hands the presents to them laughing. I giggle halfheartedly. 'It'll be okay. Your worrying way too much. I get it your pregnant and that's a little scary but you acting this upset is scaring me.' I hear Nikki think. ' I'm just scared... What am I going to do? What will Harry say? He already hates me and wants to kill Ced... Wait until he finds out I'm knocked up...' I think. 'If he says anything I will hurt him without hesitation.' Nikki threats in her head. I laugh lightly. Mrs. Weasley hands me my sweater. She smiles at me. " Why don't you try it on... I had to guess on the size because last time I sent you one you weren't eating as much..." She says. That was when I starved myself. I nod and just go into the kitchen to try it on. Of course it doesn't fit. I walk back in. " It doesn't fit..." I say and hand it to her. Normally I wouldn't be upset but the reason it didn't fit was because I was three months pregnant. Mrs. Weasley hands Nikki a sweater as well and she smiles lightly as she pulls it on over Fred's shirt. 'You okay?' I hear Nikki ask through thought. ' I'm already showing Nik... It's just a matter of time...' I think. 'Just calm down. We'll figure it out. We always do.' She thinks. "Here. I'm not that good at choosing presents so this is what I got." Fred says handing Nikki a box. She opens it.
