Newt had pulled ahead of Rose and Mr. Kowalski just as they approached a bridge over a small frozen pond. But what was oddly peculiar was the fact that they had to stand off to the side to let an ostrich sprint past. However, their attention was shifted when the sound of a large creature was heard in the distance. Newt knew exactly what had made the sound.

Placing his case down, Newt pulled a Quittage helmet out from within his coat and pushed it into Mr. Kowalski's hands, "Put this on." Newt had picked his case back up as Rose couldn't help but raise an eyebrow and giggle, "How long has that been in there? Do you have a Undetectable Extension Charm in your coat pocket now?" Newt just chuckled. "Um..." Mr. Kowalski gained both the wizard's attention, "Why would I have to wear something like this?" "Because your skull is susceptible to breakage under immense force," Newt bluntly answered before taking the lead once again.

"Typical Newt," Rose mused out loud, following along with their new Muggle friend; who trotted along with Rose as he shoved the helmet on his head. The creature before them was making very loud noises; loud enough to reach the ears of every Muggle within the confines of New York... they would have to work fast. Newt had placed his case down again as he suddenly pulled out his old Quittage vest. Rose couldn't help but laugh as Newt just gave a timid, but warm smile; he loved hearing her laugh.

"Just, um... pop this on," Newt instructed, beginning to fasten the vest onto Mr. Kowalski, who stood there awkwardly. By this point, Rose noticed that the man looked as if he was questioning himself about what he had gotten himself into. "There is absolutely nothing for you to worry about," Newt tried to reassure as he worked quickly. "Tell me, does anyone ever believe you if you tell them not to worry?" Mr. Kowalski asked, clearly worrying. "Well, my philosophy is that worrying means you suffer twice," Newt replied, giving a small smirk to his female companion.

Rose couldn't help but smile. She hadn't lived by those words sense she had left Hogwarts. Newt had finally made his quote that would live long through history. And, to think, she was the one that had quoted him to quote himself. She couldn't help but giggle to herself as they entered the zoo. None the less, Rose was happy that Newt had taken the words to heart.

The zoo had been broken into, quite literally. Gates were smashed as brick walls were broken down and crumbling. The loud creature noises continued as Newt seemed to be listening intently. Before long, they had come to a stop. "She's in season," Newt informed, placing his case down for a third time, "She needs to mate." Rose came up behind Mr. Kowalski to glance into the enclosure that had been busted wide open; the hippo enclosure. But Rose quickly spotted the Erumpent cornering a poor little hippo.

Newt had pulled out a small vile of some sorts, without either of the other two taking notice. "Erumpent musk... she's mad for it," Newt mainly spoke to himself, dabbing the scent on his wrists. Rose shot her gaze over to Newt before glancing at the large creature again before turning back to her dear friend, "That's not dangerous or anything." "That's not as dangerous as what I'm about to do," Newt quickly replied. Rose just quirked a brow before she glanced down to Mr. Kowalski who had taken a small whiff of the Erumpent musk, his face scrunching up a bit.

Rose and Mr. Kowalski were now standing in the entrance way the female Erumpent had made as Newt had stepped down into the animal enclosure and opened his case. He had taken a few steps forward before getting into a strange stance and letting out a weird noise. It was then a series of grunts and movements to gain the creatures attention. Mr. Kowalski couldn't help but give a strange look as Rose could hardly contain her giggles, "That's attractive." "What's he doing?" Mr. Kowalski asked, clearly confused. "The Erumpent's mating dance," Rose simply answered as Mr. Kowalski just furrowed his brows again.
