"First order of business" Andrea said, her hand perched on her hips.

"Why is that in the house?" Andrea pointed at the glass jar which she had placed on the table, the jar that contained the pixie which I had been gifted.

Luca's eyes shot to me, and Maria remained clueless. I smiled at Andrea sheepishly.

"A friend" I said

Andrea sighed, she rolled her eyes.

"We can't keep it here" She said "We're releasing it"

Luca shot forward. "Do you know how hard it is to capture a pixie?"

Andrea rolled her eyes once again, releasing an even deeper sigh.

"I don't care Luca" Andrea began "We can't keep it in captivity-"

"Her" I interjected "We can't keep her in captivity"

Andrea shot me a look which convinced me that I should've been the last one talking.

"We can use her" Luca said "With the way things are going we might need a little bit of magic"

Andrea huffed.

There was a silence which permeated the room. My brows were raised. I was surprised by the fact that Luca and his sister argued like my brother and I. I'd never thought that they would.

"What do you mean 'with the way things are going?'" I said

Andrea shot Luca an angry look. She clenched her fists.

"You mean, you haven't told her" she said.

Luca stood to match his sister. He pointed a finger at her, right at her nose.

"She doesn't need to know-"

"I think I deserve to know" I interjected "I was almost killed over whatever the hell was going on"

Luca turned to me, his brows knit together. After a few moments of visual contemplation I could tell that he knew I was right. He sighed, unhappy with his defeat.

"Fine" He said

He placed his head in his hands, letting out an angry growl.

"We've lost fourteen acres of territory to Max since you arrived" Luca said "He's closing in, he just wants to start a fight-"

"A war" Andrea said, correcting him "He's attempting to trigger the Great War"

Luca stared daggers at Andrea.

"What war?" I said

"It's nothing-" Luca began

"Nothing?" Andrea said "Luca, it's your destiny there's no way around it"

My eyes travelled between the two of them. Unsure of who to listen to. They were staring at each other, both shooting the other an angry glare.

"It doesn't have to happen-" Luca said

"Max wants it to happen, and you have to stop it" Andrea said "If that means killing him, then it means killing him"
