He can feel every blow that hits her skin, however its not in the same intensity. Luca can only feel light electric shocks, he can't imagine what she's feeling. He can only hope that she hasn't been broken yet. He just wants to do something. He wanted to find her and hold her once again. He wanted to her her laugh, and her stupid snarky comments.

Andrea had increased the frequency of his doctors  visits.  Dr. Cadman was seeing him twice a week. Once to discuss his childhood, and the other meeting was about handling his..situation.

They were beginning to think finding her was unlikely. Contingency plans were being drawn up. Andrea was at the helm of these plans. Luca had refused to accept any of it. Spending his free time searching fare and wide.

There were days where he wanted to give up.

It had gotten worse since he had started being able to feel her. He suspected that she was sending out "distress calls", only when she was close to dying. Any other time he was unable to form any connection. Not one substantial enough to get into her head.

He pushed those thoughts out of his head, he didn't want to think about it right now.

He was sitting in Dr.Cadman's office. They're session was coming to an end. Luca was glad of that. Though he knew that Andrea would kill him if he blew off an appointment, he wouldn't hesitate to ditch if he could. He hated wracking his brain for information, he also hated the fact that the Doc was able to change his perspective, he'd always thought in one way, any deviation seemed alien.

She'd even changed his opinion about his father.

She snapped her fingers, as she always did when she felt like he wasn't listening. Luca hated when she did that.

He refocused his eyes on her. She was staring at him intensely through his glasses.

He knew the question she was going to ask him. It was the question which was always asked.

"Any luck finding your girlfriend?"

Luca sighed, preparing to give his usual response.

"She's not my girlfriend" Luca said

Every single time she asked that question, Luca had to correct her. She was one of the few werewolves he knew that used human terms to discuss their significant others.

Luca sat up. He crossed his arm over his chest. Something which Dr.Cadman would refer to as "uninviting body language".

"You're in a relationship with this girl, are you not?" Dr. Cadman said. She was lightly tapping her pen against the side of her glasses. She had been doing it absentmindedly for the past hour.

It was driving him crazy.

"She's my Mate. We've been over this" Luca snapped.

"Mate makes it sound like you didn't have a choice"

"I didn't" Luca deadpanned.

"You did" Dr. Cadman said "You could have rejected her"

"That would be what most people would call a 'Dick move'" Luca said.

That wasn't exactly true. He
didn't reject Melody for many reasons, the first being instinct. When he first met her, his stomach dropped. From the second he stared into her eyes, he had a feeling.

Then he got to know her, he learned to love her idiosyncrasies, her moods. The way that her mouth was slightly lopsided when she smirked. Even the way she tasted made him feel delirious.
