I stared in the mirror. I looked okay but not exceptional. My hair framed my face and was out. It was pushed forward over my chest. I looked like I wanted to kill someone. The fact was, I didn't know where I was going tonight. It slightly bothered me. I wanted to know, so I could dress appropriately.

Right now I was wearing something casual. A navy sweater and a black skirt. That wouldn't do me very well if Luca was taking me to some sort of gathering.

There was a soft knock at the door.

"Come in" I said

The door opened and I heard footsteps.

"Are you ready?" Luca said

"Yeah" I said

I turned towards him.

He was dressed down. A pair of jeans, a gray shirt and a leather jacket. That was his style. He scanned me up and down.

"Bring a jacket" he said

I bit my lip.

"Don't really have one" I said

He looked at me as if to say.

Are you serious?

I shrugged. He studied me for a second longer and left the room.

I walked into the main room of the Cabin and sat on the couch. On the coffee table was a book.

"The properties of Aconitum"

Aconitum, the fancy word for wolfsbane. It would be an interesting book to read. Less concentrated versions of it weren't potent, they acted like a narcotic. More concentrated versions or just the plant alone could kill a wolf. I was the ultra concentrated version of it.
Luca walked back into the room via the other door. He had a black jacket in his hands.

"Here" he said, holding it out.

I gripped the jacket and mumbled a "thanks"

He opened the door and I followed him.
He trudged along the path. The air was frigid, the sky was beautiful. The sun was setting, leaving trails of pink in the sky. I loved sunsets. Every evening a different story. Every night a new painting. The sky got to change, whilst I had to stay the same.
We walked into the Forrest, it was dead quiet. Not a single creature was stirring, except for Luca. He surged forward, through the trees leaving me to follow him. I began speed walking. Luca's singular strides were worth at least three of mine, it sucked to be short.

We kept walking, past clearings and blocks of trees. We kept walking until we reached the tunnel. The tunnel where Luca parked his car. It was a massive concrete cavern, build underneath a bridge. There was a ledge on the edge of the clearing. Luca walked over and jumped off the ledge, into the mouth of the tunnel. I followed suit. My feet hit the ground hard, almost causing my knees to buckle. I sauntered around a little bit until regaining my balance.

We walked down the tunnel. Luca's car was parked close to the left wall. He opened the door and hopped in. Starting the car up. I got in the car, sitting in the passengers seat.
