The Falling Stars

⋆𝘈 𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘚𝘬𝘺⋆

For every tear that fell from her eyes,

A bright star came falling from the sky.

Something inside her snapped in two

And that was when the universe knew.

That there was no one there to brighten her life.

None in the seas, none in the skies.

And definitely none on a wretched land,

Where all they did was weaken her stand.

So every time she cried, a star fell.

It fell to where her soul was; into the depths of hell.

The universe thought, seeing this would make her smile.

That maybe throwing away stars, was worth the while.

But only if she knew,

How the stars burned in a pretty hue.

She never saw them, she was always looking down.

To hide a face that hid a frown.

But everyone has a breaking point.

And their song of living, no longer has a rhyme.

Stars fell endlessly, every time she cried.

And the universe knows, she really tried.

It's way too much now, she can't hold it in anymore,

And tears and stars fall faster than before.

It wasn't long before the universe realized,

That all the girl could hear, were her own cries.

Yet the stars never stopped to fall,

Although it was clear that there was no hope at all.

Because what world deserved something bright at night?

When all it did, was burn out someone's light.

The universe sighed and told the stars,

"It won't be long before she falls apart.

And when that happens, whenever that may be,

I want her to have nothing but peace."

So when the universe told the girl,

That she'd be fine beyond this cruel world.

She simply shook her head and said,

"All I ever wanted was a friend."

The girl smiled with teary eyes,

It's been so many days, and many more nights.

It won't be too long before we see a starless-sky

And that would be the last tear that fell from her eyes.

Random idea popped up again!!

Okay... actually it wasn't random :) Yesterday, I saw a shooting star (I'm pretty sure that's what it was okay -_-)... and... OH MAI GOD IT WAS SOOO BEAUTIFUL <3!!!!!! It was this orange comet-like thing that streaked across the sky and disappeared within seconds... but gosh it made my day :)

I feel lucky *v*
