Dear Anybody,
Lighten the burden on your shoulders.
Your angelic wings can only hold so much.
The wounds of swords born in my mouth,
Marks of such wounds; you have more than enough.
To all friends I couldn't keep, it was obviously me.
It is so easy to snap the thread you hold so dearly,
But darling, that thread of friendship chokes you harshly.
So I'll snap it off and set you free.
To all the friends who are still sticking by,
Don't worry, there will come a time.
When I'll mess it up, so bad, you won't even try.
But in case you do, I'll bid the first goodbye.
To all the foes who know me all too well,
Who know that I can't do one thing right.
Who know, that I should be damned to hell.
I'm God's mistake that doesn't deserve life.
To all the people whose path I've crossed,
Forgive me, I've ruined your very sight.
If anything happened, it's without doubt my fault.
I'm the cause of all your muffled cries.
To all the strangers I've known before,
I know I chased you away, I screwed it all up.
I can't bear to screw it up anymore.
I can't bear myself, it's too tough.
To all those who are yet to come my way,
Don't come, turn away while you still have time.
Before you come to that very day.
When swords tumble out of my innocent smile.
And finally, to all my faces, Just keep to yourself
Don't hurt the others to heal yourself.
Intentions aside; the past is the past.
And I'm sure, the future has the same story to tell.
You need someone by your side?
Are you even worth it, devil's child?
Your swords forged by handcrafted lies.
Make people cry, soft hearts with cracked lines.
Swords wielded by those brave and just.
Those who die defending and those who survive.
And you, are anything but,
The one who kills, kills, kills; and never says why.
A lonely songbird amidst the sound.
Who spits swords in the name of a song.
Whose song kills those around,
The songbird that can only do wrong.
The songbird just wanted someone,
But that bad bird knows it doesn't deserve anyone.
Can't think before it speaks, can't take back what it's sung.
Can't stop the swords; can't fix the damage done.
Can't wait, until it's time has come.
So forgive me, if I push you away,
Believe me when I say, it's the only way you're safe.
From lethal swords I can't stop,
From lethal swords; marks that'll forever stay.
From,
~LonelyComets
