The fear to hear it, caused your despair.
Of course, I'm not sure yet!
But I guess that's why it was a secret.
I now know you yearn for comfort,
I'm here to save you from all this hurt.
Though you couldn't put it in words,
Your heart whispered enough for me to hear.
Just a little longer,
I'm here with you, so stand taller.
Share with me, the pain you held.
The pain you kept for so long to yourself.
I feel protected, with your arms around me.
There is no need for you to be sorry.
And no matter how deep your wound gets.
I'll stitch it up, and keep you safe from the rest.
Forgive me, for being so late.
Don't think I forgot you, ever again.
I'd tell you something, only if I could.
But some things, without words, are better understood.
For every piece of glass that breaks,
I'll glue it together, for our sake.
For your secret, hidden in that glass.
Was clear before it tore apart.
You saved me too you know,
From monsters in a mind that was hollow.
It is not a favor that I return,
But love for a heart that has much to learn.
And though I don't love myself either.
I'll tell you something I'd normally hide.
You're the tiny part of my life.
That I've slowly grown to like.
I wish to be there for you,
On good days and bad ones too.
I want to widen your smile and dry your tears.
And continue to do so, for years and years.
I'll shine to be your light.
Not to light up your sins, if I might.
But over the happiness that you've gotten,
And all good memories you may have forgotten.
Everybody makes mistakes, yet you forgave mine.
And now you're the reason, I like to smile.
Please don't give up so soon, please take my hand.
I'll never let go, and do everything I can.
To help you face your falling tide,
We can fight our battles, side by side.
And for all the sadness you'd perceived.
Let your heart beat, there's so much more to see.

AGHHH ARMYS BEFORE YOU LASH OUT AT ME :--- yes... it's more of a "reply" to Taehyung's 'Stigma'. But I guess it makes sense on its own too... if it doesn't... you know where to look ;) And actually tbh... this was meant for someone :) And it somehow sounded really "derived" from Stigma so I just let it be.
