Unnecessary, it was unnecessary.

The pretense, the role you played.

The make-up, the lights, the stage.

The young child, a quiet one.

You expect her to scream?

You expect her to become what she doesn't want to be?

But she played her role, rather perfectly.

Don't blame her for being too loud.

In fact, I think you should feel proud.

You created a monster.

What, this wasn't a part of the script?

Well, for the person you made her, it seems fit.

You created a hurricane.

What, did she happen to break your stage?

Or did she break you, your ego, your fame?

You, made a child an antagonist.

And for her smallest mistakes, the biggest blame.

Well, now she lives under a criminal's name.

Well, now she lives like a rebel.

What? You want her as the heroine?

Or do you want to add to her list another sin?

Simply, because it was your stage.

Your rights, your lights, your game.

Your story, your theatre, your name.

But she wasn't yours,

So what have you done?

Among all your fancies, remember this/

You beat her, once, twice?

She beat herself a thousand times after that time.

Because once you step on stage, you can't leave.

You have to pretend you're fine amidst the catastrophe.

After all, the audience will only believe what they see.

Because once you're in the light, the things around are dark.

At every turn and corner, people change and they're changed.

And you still expect them to stay the same?

It's not their fault, they can't swing it like they used to.

You can't wound a person and expect them not to scar.

Even if it's a fake play, it's a real heart.

And even though it was your play, she was still a part.

Of a blame game, she bridged the plot.

And in this drama, her character faced a lot.

And so did her real heart.

Yes, I know the poem quality is blesch nowadays.... but what to do..

I'm down to my last few matches of thought....i've already burned away the rest (i hope this small poetic statement makes up for the blesch i post)

Hopefully, if things go well, I have only four more matches left to burn ;)
