Saturday morning and the sounds of snoring

Good morning ughhhh. Well it is 5:20am, "What the hell are you doing up" you ask? I am waking up and getting ready to walk. I am not much of a sleeper never have been and for 15 years at SECO I guess my auto alarm is set.

This is it the 30 mins I purposely wake up early to walk M-F is nothing compared to this little sacrifice. I usually walk 2 miles a day but on Saturday I leave at dark and come back with the sunrise. LOL OK that was sweetly poetic but really I love the morning.

I live in Florida so it is nice and cool in the morning even in the summer even though 80 to some is hot I prefer the heat over the cold so I am content. I get a little worried because we live in a rural area and I sometimes see foxes, coyote and snakes. The fox says "ding ding ding ding ding ding". Ok smiling yet?

My family wont even leave the bed on Saturdays till 9-10 unless we are going fishing then......my boyfriend has a majic fishing rocket attached to his feet.  I am so proud that he is trying to be healthy at least using his pedometer.

I love that I can walk for an hour or so, come home make coffee and sit at the computer on Facebook whatever as I cool off. It is purely ME time. I feel horrible when I first wake up and really don't want to go but find after the beautiful voice inter ups my Pandora TIME 15 MINUTES 23 SECONDS DISTANCE 1 MILE PACE 15 MINUTES 23 SEC. For those that use MAP MY WALK you will understand.

This morning I am going to listen to a podcast from a friend of mine called Make your someday today. He is just starting out a really quite good. Easy to understand and REAL. He is not just some guy being preachy but he has walked the walk. Trevor Lareneeis his name you should check it out.

Anyways peeps my goal for today is 5 miles. we shall see.

1 calorie at a time baby killing it. Gotta go stretch

Wow this is a first by 9am I have burned over 1200 calories. I have walked 5 miles. cooked breakfast, and cleaned the kitchen. I am on cloud 9 right now I did it. For my treat I used REAL CREAAM in my coffe. I switched to milk months ago and hate it but....it saves 100+ calories and definatly better than black, you get used to it. SO PROUD PROUD PROUD. My fit bit is almost all lit up. 12000 steps so far today.
