Fate can be Fatal

Part 1: Surprising Turn of Events

 Written from a 3rd person perspective, following Cheryl and Toni on their journey.

On the morning of the first day back from summer, Cheryl Blossom continues her usual morning routine despite her heart wrenching summer. Her brother had been brutally murdered by her father, which led to his suspecting suicide. Now, Cheryl is left with her horrid mother and Nana Rose, and in a surprising turn of event, her uncle turned up at the house. Despite all that, Cheryl puts on her stone cold exterior and head out the door to school.

Once there, she meets Josie and they head to class, with all eyes on Cheryl and the lies following her family, she feels like shes trapped in a revolving door of unwanted attention. 

On the other side of town, the Southside, serpent Toni Topaz hops onto her motorbike and rides casually to her high school, practical rivals of Riverdale. Once there, she sees her best friends, Sweet Pea and Fangs, along with Jughead and other members of the serpents. The Southside was always feared, due to the misconceptions that it was full of drugs and crime. Even though the serpents and the school were constantly being hated on, Toni and the gang get on with their lives as if nothing happens. 

A few weeks after school starts, and nothing overally negative has happened in either school yet, the Southside high school is being shut down, to be turned into a high profit prison, to the bitter frustration of the students on both sides. 

On the morning of the announcement, Riverdale high holds an assembly, of which Cheryl makes her speech regarding his new issue, "Welcome, Riverdale High students. As you may all know by now, Southside High has been closed, meaning many of their students will be transferring here starting on Monday, we hope no distractions to come from this, 'Southside scum' and things will carry on as normal" she says harshly and eventually steps of the platform, many students and teacher clapping, knowing they don't want to mess with Miss Cheryl Blossom. 

Back at Southside High, news travels about some of the students transfer to Riverdale, some being mad and other envious that these kid from a rough area get to go to the best school. Toni eventually finds out that Sweet Pea, Fangs, Jughead, herself, and many other will have to go to Riverdale.

After a nightly drink with the gang at Whyte Wyrn, Toni and the others decide it's a positive move for them, and prepare for stares and shouts on the Monday morning, and what kind of people they'll meet...
