At the Whyte Wyrm, the serpents usual drinking spot, sits Toni and the gang. They've been there for a few hours, and Sweet Pea has probably had a bit to much to drink, but his tolerance is high so no one was too bothered when he decided to walk home at 1am, alone, even though they should've been.

A few miles away at the Blossom household, Cheryl finally gets ready to go to sleep and tiredly walks up the stairs and into her massive bedroom. She gets into her duvet but suddenly hears a massive 'thud' coming from downstairs. She was afraid but ultimately ventured downstairs, armed with a small pocket knife she happens to keep in her draw. "If anyone's there, show yourself" she shivers, attempting not to show fear to this possibly dangerous situation. She makes it to the bottom of the stairs and shrieks at the sight of her fallen grandma, Nana Rose who was laying helplessly on the floor, her head gashed on one side. Automatically all fear leaves her head as she rushes over to help her Nana. Then, she rushes towards the phone and dials 911, asking for an ambulance to their residence.

Once it gets their, she explains the situation and the police eventually arrive. Despite that, she gets in the ambulance with her Nana and goes with her all the way to hospital.

Back at the Whyte Wyrm, Toni decides to catch some fresh air, after being stuck inside for a few too many hours, and heads outside the doors. There, she sees Sweet Pea, laying on the side of the pathway, a possible stab wound to the arm. She yells for help from the other serpents, urging them to call 911 and runs swiftly over to Sweet Pea, who was knocked unconscious from the fall.

The ambulance took a few minutes more than desired but it eventually made it to the Southside, due to none of the serpents being blood family to Sweet Pea, they weren't allowed in the van with him. However, Toni, Fangs and Jughead decides to hop into Fp's truck and steadily follow the ambulance to the nearest hospital, the same one of which Nana Rose was just arriving to.

Cheryl stays with her grandma all the way to the emergency ward but gets told to stay put so they could examine her grandma's injuries.

A few halls down, Cheryl could hear the loud opening of doors, which was the arrival of the serpents, trying to look for Sweet Peas whereabouts. The boys decide to go one way, but Toni breaks away from their little manhunt, telling Fangs she needs some water and walks off in the other direction.

Toni tries to regain herself, telling herself nothing wrong, but she was infamously a worrier. Like last summer when Fangs fell 2ft out of a tree, Toni almost called an ambulance and was overly checking up on Fangs, even after he laughed it off and the boys carried on messing about.

Cheryl sits there, her legs bouncing up and down out of fear of her grandmas wellbeing. A few metres away, Toni turns the corner and see's an upset Cheryl, still in her pj's and is conflicted about what to do and wondering what brings her to the hospital at this late hour.

She stands there for a few seconds but eventually, "Cheryl?" she asks softly and Cheryl looks up at her. "You mind if I sit?" but Cheryl says nothing and looks down to the floor, so Toni decides to sit anyway. The girls sit in silence for a few moments until,

"My Nana fell, or got pushed or... something" Cheryl eventually says and shivers at the words.

In attempt to help someone who didn't seem to be her biggest fan, Toni replies, "Cheryl, i'm so sorry" and looks in her direction.

Cheryl shrugs of her pain, momentarily and asks Toni, "Why, why are you here?"

"We think Sweet Pea got stabbed, but we don't know why" and automatically Cheryl's hard exterior softens at Toni's sadness.

Without knowing how to reply, Cheryl faces Toni and says, "I'm sorry about yesterday... it's just..." but she pauses at the touch of Toni's hand upon hers.

"No worries, it's fine" Toni replies as her phone rings. She swiftly answers and Fangs tells her to get to Sweet Pea, and gives her his whereabouts. She hangs up and stands up, "I hope everything goes ok with your Nana, I've got to go" and before Cheryl could mutter a sincere reply, Toni was gone.
