Toni and Pea fly through the double doors and into the open lounge. Penelope, oddly doesn't appear fazed by this but rather stares at the two Serpents.
Cheryl appears shocked but looked adoringly at Toni. "Do you mind?" says Uncle Claudius and takes steps in their direction, "We're dealing with some--- family business in here".
"You're not her family!" Pea replies, stepping up to the uncle, "We are", Toni nodding in agreement, not losing eye contact from Penelope.
"They are", Cheryl finally speaks up, and stands. She begins to walk over to the duo, Toni's arm stretched, waiting for Cheryl to take her hand.
"She's not leaving that easily" her mother enforces, grabbing Cheryl's other arm.
"Well we're not leaving without her" Toni says as Penelope grasp slips.
Pea whips out his knife, pointing in the direction of a nearing Claudius, "Don't try this shit again" and with that, the three young Serpents leave Thistlehouse, breaking the front door in the process.
They all get on their bikes and ride off back to the Southside, but not before Cheryl shouts one more sentence at her mother, "I'll get this house".
Instead of going home, Cheryl heads off to Veronicas. Thanking Pea, hugging him tightly and kissing Toni goodbye, knowing this time she'll actually manage to make it to Veronicas house.
She knocks on the door and it opens, revealing a very pissed off Veronica, "Where have you been?"
"It's a long story, can I come in?" asks Cheryl. Veronica nods and then she explains the situation.
After a quick catch up, the girls begin the campaign of allowing the Serpents to stay in Riverdale, and they are determined.
Gradually more of the ever-growing gang join them--- discussing thoughts, writing speeches and making posters, hoping the students of Riverdale will agree with them...
Then the TV displays the local news:
"Breaking news: Mayor McCoy will be having to fight for her next term. Local resident: Fred Andrews, will be running against her. Due to recently voiced opinions regarding the Southside, she has the people of Riverdale conflicted. When asked why he has decided to run, Mr. Andrews, father of Riverdale High student, Archie Andrews, said that he's sick of people, people like Mayor McCoy trying to keep the North and Southside divided, he fights for everyone in this town"
