Part 34: Official Arrest and A First

After gathering other evidence Cheryl has collected recently, along with the recording, the girls head off to the station, knowing they've finally got enough evidence to put them away. 

They ride over on their bikes, parking and strolling into the station, hand in hand as always. 

"Get us Keller" Cheryl demands from the officers as they call him over. 

"What would you like to report girls?" he questions them.

"Is there a word for almost everything?" replies Cheryl. "We need to chat" as he leads them into a questioning room... 

Hours later, the girls leave. Knowing officers will soon be arresting her mother and uncle on numerous charges. 

They call up the gang to get some drinks and meet them on the roof. An hour later they're joined by almost all of their close friends: Jug, Betty, Archie, V, Kevin, Josie, Pea and Fangs. Raising a toast to the girls and Cheryls new found freedom they all cheer, taking a swig of booze. 

On the other side of town, police raid the Blossom household, finding Penelope and Claudius, quickly arresting them and sending them down the station for questioning. Despite their best tries they're unconvincing and Keller comes to his vital decision. "The court better find you guilty" he tells the discraced pair as he puts them in a cell. 

Back at the trailer park, Toni pulls Cheryl away for a few words. "Cheryl. After this day I knew being with you is causing my life to definitely be- interesting- but I also knew it's the best way to live it. I love you" stuttering in the process as Cheryl blushes. Her cheeks matching her bright hair. She smiles, "I love you too" pulling her in for a kiss. 

Pea shouts down for them to come back up to start the party and begins blaring some music. 

With no more worries on her brain, Cheryl is able to spend a great Saturday night with her friends. But somethings always coming out the shadows...
