Fate can be Fatal

Part 15: Serpent Initiation

Saturday night had finally arrived, after a calm day of hanging out with the serpents, and sneaking into her house to see her Nana Rose, Cheryl was only two hours away from her initiation. 

Toni had left her alone in the trailer to try on different outfits, whilst she chills at the Wyrm with the rest of the gang, including Jughead, who was waiting for Bettys dance. Both hoping no assholes will hit on their girlfriends. 

One hour to go and Cheryl finally finds a suitable outfit, revealing but suitable, hoping Toni will enjoy it. Then heads off to the Wyrm with ten minutes to go. 

At the popular serpent spot, FP gets up on stage, greeted with clapping and cheers. "Please welcome Betty Cooper" she shouts and Betty heads on stage, and begins her routine to some upbeat music. Toni keeps looking around trying to find Cheryl but doesn't see her anywhere. 

Half way through Betty's initiation dance, Cheryl arrives and waits next to the stage. 

A few minutes later, the Wyrm urupts into more excitement and Betty hops off the stage into Jugheads arms and he passes her her offical serpent jacket. 

FP then walks back onto stage, "Now, Cheryl Blossom" and the crowd shouts even louder, waiting for her to get on stage.

Cheryl steps up and the music begins to play, Sweet Pea tugs Toni's arm, pulling her attention to the stage as she as distracted by something. She looks up at Cheryl, and is instantly mesmerised. The widest smile sticking on Toni's face the whole way through Cheryls initiation. She decided to wear a black mini skirt, with stockings and black heels, on her top half she picked out a red, laced top (sticking to her roots with the outfit). Nearing the ending, FP taps Toni's shoulder and gives her Cheryls jacket.

The music fades and Cheryl playfully bows at the audience, which mainly consisted of clapping men, who felt as though they now had a chance with the serpent. 

Toni gets up out her seat, pushes past the crowd and to the front of the stage. "Welcome to the serpents Cheryl" she says happily and catches her in her arms as Cheryl jumps off the stage. She puts her down and they kiss, making some men very unhappy, really knowing they don't have a chance now. "Here you go" Toni says, holding out Cheryls new jacket. She proudly takes it an puts it on, fiting perfectly and the happy couple join the the gang at the table. With the boys accepting Cheryl with open arms, especially because her and Fangs had become really close in the past few days.

The new and older serpents drank and partied until the sun came up, bright and early on the Sunday morning. The exhausted and drunk group all decide to walk home at 6am, but instead of going home they all head to a local park, crack open a few more drinks, put some blankets down and watch the sun come up. It was the perfect morning, and they all thought nothing could ruin this day for them, but off course being in Riverdale, something did ruin it.
