Archie comes into school a wet Thursday morning and heads to see Toni and manages to catch her off guard in the hallway by her locker.

"Hey Toni---- could I talk to you about something real quick?" he asks.

"Sure?" Toni replies wearily, she'd been up all night trying to finish an English paper.

"Well, as you probably know, my dads running for mayor, and I wanted to see if they serpents could help in someways. Like with the campaigin and getting the Southside votes" Archie tells her and they begin to walk to the same lesson.

"Archie, we'll be glad to help your dad, but don't stress to much about trying to get the votes. We know where he stands, he'll get them no worries" Toni says as they take their seats in class.

An hour later, Toni waits for Cheryl by her locker and a few moments later there she is.

"Ready to go babe?" says Cheryl cheerfully.

"Wait, where?" replies her girlfriend, confused.

"We told Kevin and Fangs we'd go to Pops with them today" but Toni obviously doesn't remember. Despite this the girls head off to their bikes and head to Pops.

When they get there, the boys are already sat in a booth waiting. They make their way over and sit opposite, "Hey guys" Toni says, doing her usual handshake with Fangs as their other half's chuckle. They order food and chat about almost everything, including the upcoming local election. Kevin says, "My dads still backing Mayor McCoy, since---they're kind of dating" to the surprise of the girls. Fangs had already been informed, obviously.

"Well we just have to make sure Mr. Andrews wins" reassures Fangs.

"Trust, he will" replies Toni.

The double date goes well and eventually the girls leave.

Before making it home, Cheryl receives a call from Archie, asking everyone to head over to his. Just as they hang up, they run into Jug and Betty also on their bikes. They then bike together to their friends house.

The last ones there, they fill in the gaps.

"Thanks for coming guys" begins Archie.

"Well Arch, it would be nice to know why we're even here" Jug says.

"Well Jug, if you'd give me a second--- You've all promised at one point, to help my dad with his campaign" and the group nod in agreement. "So let's get started going through some things and my dad will be here soon".

They all spread out across the living room and kitchen to begin plans. Toni and Cheryl, looking uninterested keep themselves in the kitchen, with Cheryl sat up on the counter with Toni stood next to her. Toni's looked down all say and Cheryl hasn't managed to ask why, but now that they've got some privacy in the kitchen corner, she's jumping on her chance.

"Hey, Tons--- Everything okay? You've seemed a bit down?" stroking her girlfriends arm.

Toni doesn't make much emotion but turns to face Cheryl. "It's nothing really. Just--- yesterday with them boys--- It's kind of just got to me" but tries to laugh it off.

"Tons---Tons---" but struggles to find the right words, "They're assholes, jealous assholes. C'mon who wouldn't be jealous that I've got you and they don't" trying to pick up Toni's mood, which works as usual.

"You're very confident Cheryl Blossom but you're right, you always are. C'mon let's actually do something" she says, giving Cheryl a kiss and helping her off the counter. They then head over to Archie, ready to do some work.

The gang work into the night, but by midnight, most of them head home. Except Cheryl, Toni and Veronica.

"Guys, I'm glad you're still here since I wanted to ask---- My parents have a house in the country, and they're letting six of us go next weekend, just after the election---- you guys down?" Veronica asks, beginning to pack away the posters, ready to hand out tomorrow.

"Um, of course we are" Toni excitedly says, clutching onto Cheryl's hand.

"That sounds great" Cheryl follows up with.

They crack open a few drinks before walking home, deciding it's a safer option than attempting to bike back. They leave Veronicas house and begin their short journey back to the Southside.

One the way back they discuss the upcoming election and trip, two good things to look forward to next weekend.
