While me and Oz walked i got to know more about him and Oscar. I called him Ozpin for most of our journey but the fact that he now looked my age i began calling him Oz naturally. "Hey Oz how much further?" I asked which made him sigh. "I'd say 3-4 hours till we reach where Eule thinks he is" He said confidently. "How do you know anyway? Do you speak bird or something?" He laughed at this "Yes" He said jokingly while i stared at him confused. I decided to ignore it as we continued on our journey.

We arrived at a small town that looked like it hadn't heard of technology since it had zero signs of it anywhere. "Why hello there! What brings you to our humble home?" a villager said surprised to see anyone out here, considering this place is far from any normal road to anywhere. We were just as surprised to see a town. "We're heading to Mistral, we're on our way to meet with some friends" Oz said taking the lead which i had no objection to. "Well you're pretty far off the usual routes, that's fine though. Well if you need anything there's an inn and a general store. Though i don't think you'll find anything too fancy." We both expected as much and thanked the man before heading towards the general store to stock up on rations.

The store clerk looked surprised at us "Well its nice to see some new faces! Whatchya need boys?" His voice sounded friendly. "Any food would be nice, don't worry, we have the lien to pay." I said taking the lead and assuring the man that we weren't thieves. He nodded with a friendly smile. "I'm not about to take 2 kids money, but we do need the cash. So i'll give you a discount on anything you need" He said in a caring tone. Oz was about to speak but i covered his mouth a winked. We then continued to buy what we needed and settle down in the inn the for the night, of course we shared a room to save lien. Even after the discount, we still didn't have alot of money...Figures a rookie huntsmen and a teenager from a farm.

When i laid down i saw that Oz remained in a chair in the corner. "Oz, you may be hundreds of years old, but you aren't gonna sleep easy in an old wooden chair. Lets just sleep facing away from eachother and ignore that this ever happened, okay?" My voice was stern but still friendly. He sighed and got in without arguing, we were silent for minutes before i heard a soft sigh from him. "Thanks Y/N..." He said before we both went to sleep.

When i awoke i went down stairs to get away for a bit, when i did i saw that no one was down here, which didn't surprise me so i walked outside to look get some fresh air. Again i saw no one, it reminded me of when i met Stein, so i decided to give him a call...Of course i forgot that the Beacon tower is destroyed so all communication is down. I sighed as i went back inside and up to the room. I saw Oz holding his head as he was sitting on the bed. "You alright?" I asked which startled him as he looked at me, his eyes looked as if he wasn't all there. "Y-yeah...I guess when 2 souls combine its not the easiest process" His voice sounded strained so i decided not to ask to many questions and avoid making him talk alot.

After a little while of waiting we got up and headed out and saw that there were still very few people around. This worried us so we looked around and saw a couple burnt down buildings now. These weren't there when we went to sleep, i looked towards Oz who had a face of despair. "What's going on here?" Was all i could say but Oz looked a bit more worried than that. "Clockwork! Go find Qrow, bring him here as quickly as you can" I didn't recognize the name he said but i saw Oz's eyes glow and Eule glow in response as he flew away. Oz started to look around worriedly.

"We don't have time to discuss this so i'll sum it up, someone is here and they are not taking prisoners...We don't have the fire power to win, lets run" He sounded afraid then mumbled something under his breath. I didn't like the idea of running and letting any survivors die but what choice did we have...It pained me to see a village fall like this...Reminds me of that day. I followed Oz even if i did curse myself for having to leave anyone there to surely die. As we were running i saw that Oz was getting a bit ahead and looked back towards the village in ruins which angered me. I slowed down and saw that Oz was a bit ahead now, i gave a small smirk and pulled out Lunar Rose.
