We finally arrived at the land that Vacuo was located on. I was worried at that fact since we encountered nothing on our way here. That's what worried me. Nothing tried to stop us. None of Salem's people were in our way. They let us pass if any of them saw us. "What are they planning" I mumbled to myself, annoyed. We began heading into the desert and Qrow turned into a Crow and started sitting on Oz's shoulder. He said his reasoning was that it was too hot in his clothes. So his solution would be to be a bird... I snickered remembering it.

As we wandered through the desert Oz told us heading anywhere near the capital of Vacuo would be foolish. "This place is mostly lawless. The capital is a barbaric society with few laws that are upheld by the staff of Shade academy" I remember Oz saying.

Now it had been a three days since we arrived in Vacuo and we were getting dehydrated fast. I guess being inside a desert and not bringing proper equipment was foolish. As we were walking i could have sworn i'd seen dozens of ponds and lakes. But any time i get close they disappear. "Damn mirages" I cursed. Luckily we came across a small village and ran as fast as we could in its direction. Which was not the smartest idea, considering if it had been another mirage we would've just wasted energy. But as luck would finally have. It was a real town. As we got a look at the people we noticed all of them wore clothes that seemed a lot different than what we were used to. They were clothed head-to-toe. The only part of them we could see were their hands and eyes.

Some of them noticed the way we looked and ran quickly to us. They quickly grabbed us in a non threatening way and brought us inside there homes. "Thank you" I muttered in a raspy voice as one of them set a drink of sorts in front of me, which i drank as fast as she placed it down.

"Thirsty one aren't ya" They asked revealing their voice as feminine. I had a feeling and activated Eule's gift... But luck wouldn't be that kind since it still felt far away. They set down another drink in front of me. I felt bad about drinking this small towns water supply, but i still drank since i was thirsty.

In between drinks i tried making small talk which revealed that we were a couple miles away from Vacuo and that we were idiots thinking we could just walk to Vacuo through the desert. "Not many grimm out here?" I asked taking note that we hadn't seen a single grimm on our way here.

"There used to be a lot in this area." She answered "But when Vale had that incident not to long ago, most of the grimm just up and left." I clenched my hands remembering that day. So many innocent people were killed and injured for what?

"Lucky you" I was able to get out and she nodded, noticing my anger about that subject.

The door opened and in came Oz with Qrow in human form who was scratching the back of his neck. They had two people following them with weapons drawn on them. I had my hand ready to strike down anyone if they came close to me. That was until the wooziness set in and i now realized. The water was drugged. Vacuo really is a lawless country were my last thoughts as i fell back.

As i opened my eyes from being knocked out i saw that it was night, and we were tied up in the middle of the street. I looked at Oz and Qrow and saw that they were both in their underwear. I looked down seeing that i was as well. As the citizens- or more accurate. Bandits walked to us some of them began to laugh as they looked at all our gear that they had spread out in front of us.

One of the bandits that was picking through our stuff grabbed onto Qrow's cape and draped it over her shoulder. She looked at Qrow with a cocky grin as he laughed.

"Lady if you wanted me to take off my clothes, all you had to do was ask" Qrow chuckled. Some of the others began to laugh under there breathe.

"Quiet!" The bandit screamed to others. "And you...Make all the jokes you want, you won't be leaving here." She grinned. Then the lady grabbed Qrow's sword and ran her thieving hands across it in awe. "Have at it boys!" She yelled which caused the others to run over and start taking stuff like a pack of rabid wolves eating there prey. Oz began talking to the one that grabbed his cane in a semi civil manner. But once one of the bandits grabbed my hidden blade others began fighting over it. Another one grabbed my cloak and soon everything we owned were in the grabby hands of the bandits. 

"Give those back!" I hissed at them. They turned, laughing at me as the one who took my hidden blade tried to get it on there arm. They gave up and held it. I gritted my teeth as i stared at the one who had my cloak in there arms. He noticed me and started to poke at my cloak with his dagger. "Stop!" I cried out, hoping he would listen to reason. Of course he didn't and cut a hole into it.

"...Whoops..." He laughed. The others laughed along with him as i started with murderous intent at him. I felt everything inside me begin to twist. The feeling was familiar but i couldn't put my hand on it. Qrow and Oz looked at each other since they obviously knew what that meant. I stayed quiet as i stared at the ground. My blood boiling, my eyes filled with tears, and the urge to kill them.

"I think you broke him" One of the bandits said.

"D-do it again" Another cheered for him to put a hole in it. He was going to listen and raised his hand to cut it. But when he went to lower his hand i burst into pure white rose pedals, leaving the rope behind. I was already next to him as i grabbed his arm.

I kneed him in the gut then tripped him while still holding the hand that held his dagger. I snapped his wrist in the wrong direction, revealing that he had not unlocked his aura as he cried out in pain. The others readied there weapons in fear of me. I burst into pedals again and appeared next to the one that held my hidden blade. He dropped it instantly and tripped over his own foot trying to back away. I again burst into pedals to cut Oz and Qrow's bonds. All of the bandits had there weapons at the ready as we all sat in silence. I was ready to attack them but Oz cleared his throat, bringing all attention to him.

"I'm sure we can solve this in a civil manner" He spoke. "Drop your weapons and give us our stuff back and we'll be on our merry way" Some of them began to lower there weapons. But once the leader came back out, noticing what had happened her men stood to attention. Ready to attack us.

"How did you let them escape!" She yelled in disappointment and anger. None of the bandits dared to speak, but it seemed like if they did, it wouldn't have mattered. "It doesn't matter" She sighed. "Kill them! There's twenty of you and three of them" She slammed Qrow's sword against a house wall, startling all of her people. Only a dozen of them made a move which was quickly countered as i burst into pedals rapidly reappearing at each one, slicing there legs if they didn't have aura, and disarming the ones who did. "Kill him!" She barked at the ones who still stood. None of them dared to move against me, causing me to smirk at her.

"Looks like your men fear me more" I stated the obvious. "Drop your weapons and you live" I proposed to which every one of her men dropped the weapons and all our gear. The boss screamed like a child having a temper tantrum.

"Doesn't matter" She mumbled to herself as she ran at me with Qrow's sword. I heard a familiar sound of wings behind me. Qrow flew past and turned to a human last second, hitting her in the face which she didn't know what happened by the look on her face. Qrow picked up his sword and stepped on her stomach to keep her down. "Who are you people?!" She demanded in a scream.

I looked at Qrow and Oz before i walked over the lead bandit. "We're just travelers that want to see the world" I joked knowing that they'd take it serious. They didn't know who we were. After a little bit of time spent gathering our things we left. But not before i grabbed a sowing kit and white cloth that they had, and all their lien. But that's not the point. They had to pay for there crimes so i did it in the only way i could. After a little bit of travelling we finally arrived at Vacuo. I noticed that everyone here had weapons and looked as if they'd all seen their fair share of combat. "The lawless kingdom sure does live up to its name"
