Ian's POV
I woke up early in the morning because of work. Yeah... things should be settling down soon. I think I'm getting the hang of it. When I checked my phone, there were about 20 messages on it, all from Chezza. So... I called her right away.
"Hello babe..." Cheryl greeted. Then I heard her yawn. I checked my watch. It's 7:30 am here so it's 3:30 am there. Shit.
"Oops! Forgot the time difference." I facepalmed. "Ughh. Call you later. Sorry baby."
"No! Don't hang up, please. I miss you sooooo much."
"I miss you too... How are you doing there?" I asked.
"To be honest, I kinda feel out of place... It's a good thing Lily is here." She said.
"I hope she's taking care of you well." I said.
She laughed. "Too much, I think."
"Good." I giggled. "What are you up to?" I asked.
"Errm... just preparing stuff before the auditions start two weeks from now." She said.
"Oh I see. Uhh..." I glanced at the clock."Chez, I need to go to work now. Take care, okay? I love you so much." I said.
"Awwww...Okay. I love you! Bye." She said before I hanged up.
It's such a boring day afterwards. Ugghh... I took a stroll at a nearby park. I sat down on a bench and just stared at my phone, thinking if it's okay to call her. I know she's only been away for two days but geez, I feel so lonely when she's not here. It makes me crazy.
"Hey!" I saw James walking with his dog, Jet.
"Hey! What's up?" I grinned.
"Just taking a walk. What are you doing here? Aren't you busy and stuff?" He sat down beside me.
"I'm done with work for today... I just felt like hanging out here." I said.
"Miss her?" He asked. I just nodded.
"It's hard dating a celebrity, eh?" He patted my back.
"Just needs patience..." I sighed.
"So... if you don't have anything to do, we can go out tonight...Get some drinks?"
"Errm... I'm not so sure about that." I said, thinking about Cheryl.
"Come on. Doesn't mean we're picking up girls. Just fun and drinks." He grinned.
"Fine...Alright." I said.
"Yep. That's my man." He high fived me. "See you later."
I nodded. I checked my phone again. No texts. Maybe she's really busy.
...
I went into the club James said. It's been a while since I've been in one. Ever since my face became known as the one who inherited a multimillion company, I've been more careful.
"Hey!" James suddenly pulled me into a booth. I didn't see him with all the blinding, flashing lights in a dark place. He introduced me to a couple of girls. I looked at him and saw he's already clearly tipsy. I shook my head at him. I couldn't leave him though. He's gonna be puking away if I won't be here to stop him from drinking too much.
"Is he really a pilot?" The blonde girl beside me asked. I think her name is Jane...
"Yeah...A damn good one." I said as I drank a shot.
"He's been bragging about it all night." She giggled. I noticed she had dimples like Cheryl. How cute...Eyy, I shouldn't have thought of that.
"He does that often." I shrugged. I switched my drink with James. I drank his and damn it's too strong. My stomach just made a somersault. No wonder why...After a few more minutes, our other friends came...
