Unknown POV:

After meeting the people who rescued me, we began to tour the village. It was peaceful. A gentle breeze caressed my cheek and the rustling of leaves filled the air. Children played in the streets, their laughter could be heard all around. This village was the very image of tranquility.

Kiba: "So you really don't remember anything?"

"No, I don't unfortunately."

Kiba: "Well you must be a powerful shinobi, I mean that part of the forest was destroyed. Plus your power level is huge."

"What do you mean by my power level? I don't know how to do anything ninja related."

Kiba: "Akamaru here and I can smell and sense the power of someone. You may not know how to be a ninja, but you're powerful."

This sentence merited a steely glance from Sayuri, this shut Kiba up immediately. She must have thought he was offending me.

Sayuri: "So are you beginning to remember anything?"

I shook my head disappointed. All I wanted was to be able to think clearly but the more I tried to remember the harder it became. That was when I noticed an insect land on my shoulder.

I giggled and gently picked up the little insect and inspected it.

"What a beautiful insect, she's in excellent condition. It appears to be a kikaichū."

I was speaking to myself without even realizing what I was saying, when the insect flew off I looked up to see the group had shocked faces. I watched the insect land on Shino, and for a brief moment I thought I saw him blushing.

"What?"

Shino spoke up "How did you know all of that?"

"I don't know, I just knew it."

Sayuri: "We are making progress whether you realize it or not."

We continued to walk around the village until it was growing dark, then we decided to head to a restaurant to eat. I declined at first as I had no money, but Shino interrupted stating he would pay for it. After we finished our ramen, we decided to split ways until tomorrow when we would continue.

Sayuri took me home with her and settled me in for the night. Despite my protests, Sayuri gave up her bed for me and chose to sleep on the couch. As I lay in Sayuri's bed trying to fall asleep, I heard the soft clattering of pots and pans, then the door to the house open and shut. That was all I remembered as I drifted off to sleep
