Chapter 16: A Plan

No one's POV:

Sayuri: "Now, is it possible for more than one person to take part in the mind reading jutsu and repair?"

Yamanaka Clan member: "Yes it is Lady Sayuri."

Sayuri: "And how many of your clan members present are familiar with how to do this jutsu?"

Yamanaka Clan member: "Counting myself there are six of us."

Sayuri: "And would it be possible to combine that jutsu with another?"

Kakashi: "What are you getting at Sayuri?"

Sayuri: "If Ino and the six others work on repairing her mind while I infuse my healing jutsu, we may just be able to piece together her memories."

Shikamaru: "Nothing like that has ever been attempted."

Sayuri: "Is the logic sound though, I mean is it possible?"

Kakashi: "It is worth a shot I suppose, we can't be sure if it will succeed or fail."

Sayuri: "Then are we in agreement?"

Everyone in the group nodded and went back to their positions, except the Yamanaka representative who gathered the other five in the room to assist Ino and Sayuri who prepared storing her chakra for healing.

She felt a soft hand on her shoulder as she was focusing.

Lee: "Be careful blossom, okay?"

She couldn't respond to him or she would break her focus, but he knew her well enough to know that she understood.

Once all of the Yamanaka Clan members gathered, and Sayuri infused enough chakra for healing, the plan began.

There were so many memories to piece together that none of the Yamanaka Clan could truly observe their contents and watch them, but even still the plan was working perfectly and with Sayuri's help, her memories were more than halfway complete.

Then the doors were opened and in came Shino uncharacteristically running in. His sudden appearance broke the concentration of all momentarily, before returning to their work.

Sayuri: "You're supposed to be in the hospital, what are you doing here?"

Shino: "I needed to see Andromeda, I needed to know if she was okay."

Kakashi: "Relax Shino, she's okay. Now go back to the hospital and let us handle this."

Just then one of the Yamanaka Clan members let out a scream and threw down the device that was on his head. Curiosity had gotten the better of him, and he watched a completed memory. Ninjas ran to aid the delirious man who was screaming about demons and evil. The other clan members stopped their work, worried for their family member.  The Hokage and Shino immediately were at his side.

Kakashi: "Get a hold of yourself, what did you see? What is the matter?"

The man got to his feet and pushed Kakashi and Shino out of the way. He unsheathed a Kunai and ran to Andromeda.

Yamanaka Clan member: "She's a monster! We have to kill her!"

Shino, Rock Lee and Sayuri were between them in a moment's notice.

Shino: "I won't let you kill her! Who do you think you are calling her a monster!?"

Yamanaka Clan member: "Get out of my way or I will kill you all too! She's an Ōtsutsuki!"
