Authors note:
Hi guys, thank you for reading so far. This chapter will be from Martha's point of view. So brief mention of her dad and home life so might be a boring chapter but please read. It's going to be a bit of repetitive as its from 2 peoples point of views.
Martha's point of view:
My father he is sergeant Jonathan Henry Jones. He serves ode to the queen and country but he is located in another country fighting for his and his regiments lives. He doesn't write often but when he does it's the same thing: he's ok, what the weather is like, he also like to complain about the food over there a lot. He always ask how we are coping on with the farm, what is the weather like. Occasionally we send over photos to make him feel more at home.
I live on a farm in Cornwall, England along with my mum, sisters , Duffy our sheep dog which is a border collie. We also have chickens and a lot of land most are vacated by crops. It's quite boring here, so there isn't really a lot to talk about in letters to father.
