Chapter sixteen
——————————
||•Sleepless sister•||I finally allowed Tee to visit me after two weeks. Since the hospital, I needed sometime alone—to myself. Not that I needed to cry or something. I just didn't feel like seeing anyone including Ferry.
All the family members and friends been knocking on my door severally but I didn't have the urge. Food was offered, and I didn't feel like eating. I guess I didn't have the stomach for it.
Every time I come outside to use the bathroom, all I see is food, snacks and my favourite cravings. I step over them, the next couple of hours when I come out again, they were gone.
"How are you?"
He tried his hardest not to show commiseration. It happened, nothing can be done."I'm alright-" I moved closer to him this time, "I guess, I just need..." I was now an inch away from his lips. He didn't move but steadily looked at me. "This," I finally said.
Before my lips could lend on his, he turned to the side. He then turned to face me after I backed away. "You're not in the right mindset, Princess. I get it but this is not the way. I'm here for you always. Come here." I laid on his chest which was warm—his whole body was warm.
I didn't know where Ferry was. She came back at three am. She put a blanket over me and Tee. I saw her crying on her way to our parents room. Had she been sleeping there?
I got off of Tee slowly and went after her. She's laying down in our parents room—crying. I've been selfish in my room for weeks and didn't see how my sister was doing.
I quickly thought of what to do and decided to comfort her. I crawled under the blanket behind her and and she was the little spoon. She's so cold causing her to shiver. Where had she been?
My body was probably still warm from cuddling with Tee because she quickly grabbed my arm wrapped it around herself.

"Where do you go early mornings," I asked Ferry over breakfast. I think Tee left early because he wasn't on the coach when I woke up.
"I haven't been sleeping, I find myself walking in our neighbourhood around the am."
Could be a deep in thought thing. I hope it doesn't affect her health. I don't know if I should call uncle T to take care of her or not. She wouldn't want to leave me that was another problem.
"Why don't you go to uncle's for a while." I suggested.
"Forget it, I'm not leaving you." Just as I expected.
"Eat." I offered her some breakfast but she didn't want to eat. "Fur eat this damn food, what the hell, I'm not doing this back and forth sh-t with you." I pushed the food over to her.
"You gonna eat with me." It wasn't even a asking, it was a telling. I don't feel like eating but anything to make her eat something I was good with that.
Once we were done, I cleaned after us. "Take a nap Fur, you didn't have enough sleep. I'll wake you up if anyone comes."
As she was walking to my parents' room, she turned around to say something.
"Moochi, I hope you can forgive me about pulling the plug. Please understand. Don't be mad at me. I'm already mad at myself and I'm going to live with it forever."
When she realised I didn't answer, she made her way to the room. I almost told her to go to her room but this was part of her grieve.
There was a knock on the door making me get off of the sofa I was comfortable in. It can't be Tee because he doesn't knock and whenever he found the door locked, he would use the back door.
It was Nick and Sam. "Hey," he pulled me in for a hug. "My condolences babygirl." I smiled at him. Sam also hugged me and sadness filled her face. "Can I get you guys anything." Sam was scanning the place. It had been a while since she had seen this place.
"Water," Nick responded. "Me too," Sam said. Before I could put the water down, Tee arrived. Him and Sam stared at each other for a good long minute.
"Princes, mum told me to bring this, she has gone to uncle T's house," he turned his full attention to me after acknowledging Nick. He handed me the food. I put it in the fridge for later, hopefully Ferry would eat some.
"I'll call to thank her later." We sat on the soft comfy sofas. Nobody said anything. People are always unsure of what to say during times like these. I don't feel like talking myself but it would be rude if I don't say something to the guests.
"How are you both," they both replied to me at the same time, "good good." Then they both sipped their water. Usually I would laugh.
Everyone went quiet again. Perfect.
"Hey Nick. Sam when did you get back?" Ferry couldn't sleep after all. She hugged both Sam and Nick. They talked about when Sam got back and our parents. I felt a little thirsty. Soon as I came to view with the fridge, Tee's PineGos meet my eyes. I took one out and threw it to him.
"My PineGo," he mumbled causing his eyes to tear but he hid from me. He doesn't know I can see through him.
"What kind of childish drink is that?" Sam asked. At first it was like Tee didn't want to answer. But eventually he did. And I knew it was going to be petty. "Childish? Childish is when people leave without explanation."
"That's rude Tee," I said. He didn't say anything but sipped his drink.
Ferry's phone ranged. I Couldn't make sense of what she was mmming and nodding about. Whatever it was, it sounded like a plan she was not up for.
Once she realised I had questions on my face, she took a deep breath and answered.
"Funeral arrangements."
