I sat in the room in silence. I'm to worried to go back to listening to my music because my mind was stuck on the fact that Jada could get hurt. She was injured as it is and if that ex of hers confronts her he'd probably kill her. My palms ached with the thought and my head hurt.

I stood up and walked out of my room with the idea of just clearing my mind. Lay and Baekhyun still working on those papers and Kris and D.O no where to be found. Outside the birds were noiseless and the air only felt still. My fur was already peaking from my skin itching and waiting for a release. I left my shoes outside by the door and took off around to the back where our backyard met the woods. The twigs sticking my feet felt great as I ran up the hills. My back arched and my feet formed to the ground and picked up more speed. My clothes disappeared and my hair took over. My tail flew behind me as did the scenery.

Rarely do I leave the house to do this and whenever I did I wondered how I could not want to leave to do this stuff. It felt amazing to have my fur loose and my mind cleared by all the high definition sound. Jada never left my thoughts but my worries about her did. I even forgot why I was worried in the first place. Everything was replaced with the thought of her beautiful face and her smile. Even with all the injuries and inflections on her I couldn't help but think about just her. Not the scars.

One day I'm going to have to tell her about the bite. If I want to spend the rest of my life with her I'm going to have to tell her about this. I looked around at all the trees surrounding me as I smoothed out the fur on my stomach. Not to be a cat about it I just couldn't bare the thought of knotted and shaggy fur. When I wasn't watching my back for enemies life was pretty enjoyable. I finished and watched the birds above me make their nest in the crook of the tree limb. It was peaceful enough to hear the sound of other branches snapping. A new smell burdened my security and I got up to investigate.

I've definitely smelled this scent before and it was a little unsettling. I almost turned around to head back home when I caught sight of it trying to run passed me. I took off in its direction. No plan was in mind I wasn't even sure if I should be running after this thing. Something just told me to.

It was huge and had a tail as well. It ran on all fours except it looked a little lopsided. It let out a loud howl and brushed against a tree disturbing the birds. He tossed his head back and let out a laugh then turned around quickly to catch a glance at me. His green eyes narrowed at me before he took off faster. I didn't even have to see it close up I could already tell that this was a Lyncan. I was running after a Lyncan who could kill me if he wanted, but something kept it from turning around and killing me. That's when another smell caught on. "Jada." I gasped.

Her scent was strong and of course she smelled like us. Lyncans wouldn't be this interested in a human being unless they smelled like something Lyncans were out to kill. Werewolves.

I sped up faster trying to catch up with it. Air was ripping through my lungs and my paws felt heavy beneath me, but I had to push myself for Jada's safety. Coming up next to me the library was visible. I wondered why he hadn't just stopped here. That's when I realized she was probably walking the back road. "dammit Lay." I cursed knowing he probably hadn't answered his phone.

Snarling was audible as I knew I was getting closer to the creature. Its back legs kicked up dirt in my face but I still managed to get a firm grip of his tail between my teeth. He yelped and reached back trying to bite my neck but I got away. He would have killed me right there, but I knew this bastard's moves. Jeoff, was a beta Lyncan. You'd think big animals like these would travel alone. Oh no. Where ever Jeoff was his friend Lynn was close by. Easily I picked up on his scent far behind us. I let go of Jeoff's tail and ran up behind his grabbing his neck and pushing my weight onto him until he was down. "Jeoff, baby, why can't you just leave us alone?" I smirked while holding him down.
