TORI'S POV
"Are you done packing yet?" Justin knocked on my door and asked.
"Almost," I replied while stuffing a heavy sweat shirt into my suitcase. We are going to Canada for Christmas, which is only two days away. Today is December 23, 2010. Ryan, Chaz, Christian, Caitlin, and their families are all going to Canada because their extended family lives there, too.
"Okay. Come out and put your stuff in the car when you're done," he said. I heard his footsteps down the hallway, indicating that he had left. Pattie hid Justin's hockey bag in the car some how so that he wouldn't find it. All the rest of the presents are in boxes and wrapped.
I walked out of my bedroom, rolling my suitcase behind me and carrying my toiletry case. Once those were safely in the trunk of the car, I proceeded to walk back inside and grab my winter boots, coat, hat, gloves, etc.
Justin, Pattie, and I pulled out of the drive way in a black Range Rover fifteen minutes later. When we got to the airport, we unloaded the car and put the luggage on the private jet.
I sat down in a seat with Justin across from me and Pattie next to me. Ryan, Chaz, and Christian and Caitlin's family had left Atlanta a few days earlier and were in Canada right now. Pulling out my IPhone and earbuds, I got ready for the long flight ahead of us.
As soon as I had my music playing and had my earbuds in, they got ripped out by none other than Justin. "Hey! What was that for?" I asked, annoyed that he would just pull earbuds out of my ears like that.
"I was wondering if you want to watch a movie with me?" he asked. "Sorry about that," he mumbled after.
"Sorry I snapped at you," I apologized. "What movie?" I asked.
"I was thinking Alice in Wonderland. You know, the new version where Johnny Depp plays the Mad Hatter."
"Haven't seen it yet, but I've seen the trailer and it looks really good."
"Well then, today's your lucky day." He turned his attention to Pattie now. "Would you mind if we watch it in here or do you want us to use the tv in the bedroom in the back?" He asked her.
"You can watch it out here," she replied while getting up and opening a cabinet. "I brought some snacks along in case you're hungry." She grabbed a small bag of Triscuits, the magazine she was reading, and walked back into the bedroom.
Justin popped the DVD into the player, grabbed the remote, and sat down. He began to fast forward the previews, when my phone rang. I looked at the screen: Taylor. "I'll be right back," I said and then walked into the bathroom to take the call.
"Hey Taylor. What's up?" I asked as I answered the phone.
"I'm working on my third studio album which is going to be called Speak Now. I also showed the producers Mean and they said that they wanted to put it on the album! Is that okay with you?"
"Of course it's okay with me! Wow, I'm going to be on an album with one of my idols. What is life?"
Taylor's laugh was heard. "Did you tell Justin or your mom that you recorded with me?" she asked.
"No," I replied, dragging out the word.
"You need to tell them. I promise that they'll be happy for you," she reassured me.
I took a deep breath. "Okay. Justin and I are watching a movie right now, so I'll tell them after them after we finish the movie."
"Okay. Text me and tell me how it goes. Have a good Christmas and New Year. Wait a second, I'll see you in Times Square on New Year's Eve."
