TORI'S POV

I'm sitting in my room back in Atlanta playing on my iPod. Ryan, Chaz, and Christian were coming over because we were all going to an indoor ice rink, so Justin can teach me how to play hockey. Caitlin is hanging out with her friend Ashley, so she's not coming.

I looked out my window and saw a black car pull up and three boys get out with duffle bags. I was assuming the duffle bags were full of hockey gear: hockey skates, hockey stick, gloves, helmet, etc.

I walked downstairs, grabbed my gloves, hat, and coat, and then saw Justin walk downstairs with his bag full of hockey stuff. "You ready Tori?" Justin asked.

"Yup," I replied just as the guys walked inside. "But what about my skates and stick? I don't have those."

"Do you know how to ice skate yet?" Justin asked.

"No," I replied.

"Okay. We'll rent you skates and teach you how to skate first. Then, if you feel comfortable, we'll rent you a stick and teach you how to play hockey. How does that sound?"

"Sounds good."

"Aight, leggo!"

We all walked out the door and piled into Justin's car. Justin drove while Ryan sat in the passenger seat, I on the hand, was squished in the backseat between Christian and Chaz. The hockey bags were stuffed in the trunk; good thing they aren't in the backseat because then I probably wouldn't be able to move. I guess it wasn't so bad though because I was sitting next to Chaz.

"What's that smell?" I asked.

"Hockey gear," Ryan, Chaz, and Christian answered in unison.

"What did you do to it?" I asked, while plugging my nose.

"It hasn't been washed in about two months," Chaz replied with a shrug like it was no big deal.

"You're disgusting!" I exclaimed while giving him a playful slap in the stomach.

"Help! Justin! I've been shot!" He yelled and pretended to die.

"Quit your whining Chaz and take it like a man!" Justin yelled back.

"Whatever Mr. Pop Star Heart-Throb."

"You're just jealous because you don't have abs like me," Justin replied with a smirk.

"I've got bigger abs than you!" Chaz argued back.

"We'll then! Let's have Tori judge us."

"No!" I exclaimed. As awesome as it would be to see Chaz's abs, it would also be very uncomfortable, especially since Justin is my brother.

"You both have nice abs for being girls! So shut up!" Ryan yelled, stopping the argument.

"Ryan, wait a second. That's an insult to me!" I laughed as I said that.

"Oh yeah. You guys have nice abs for baby girls!"

We all cheered, except for Ryan and Justin who groaned because they knew they'd just been beat. A few minutes later we arrived at the ice rink. Justin rented it out so there won't be any fans here. The guys grabbed their smelly hockey stuff out of the trunk, and then we walked inside. Justin rented me some skates and tied them for me because I'd never tied hockey skates before. The guys all put on their skates and then we went onto the ice.

I walked on and grabbed onto the boards. "Okay Tori. Watch me," Justin said. I looked him and he started explaining. "Have you ever roller bladed before?" I nodded. "It's basically the same thing but you're standing on blades that are 1/8 inch thick and you are skating on a slippery surface."

"Okay." I let go of the boards and tried doing what Justin and the guys were doing. I started out slow at first, but then I got the hang of it.

We skated around the rink and then we started playing tag. "You're it!" Ryan yelled at Chaz as he tapped him on the back. I started skating faster because Chaz was close to me.

I felt a pair of hands wrap around my waist and then they lifted me up. "Haha! I got you! You're it!"

"Chaz, you dummy! Put me down!" He put me down and then I started skating towards Justin to tag him.

After we were done playing tag, Ryan, Christian, and Justin went to buy food from the concession stand, which was right by where we put our skates on. Chaz and I weren't hungry, so we just kept skating.

Justin, Christian, Ryan, and Chaz always did these really fast stops where they made snow come up from the ice. It looked like they just skated fast and pushed their skates out to the side while turning their whole body to same side as their skates. It didn't look too hard.

I started skating as fast I could and then turned and pushed my skates to the side. In the blink of eye I fell down. My left ankle crashed into the ice, then my whole body came down right on top of that same ankle. I cried out in pain and felt tears sting the back of my eyes.

"Tori!" Chaz skated over to me as fast as lightning. "What happened?"

"I- I tried to stop a- and I fell on my left ankle. It r- really hurts."

"Okay. Can you move it?" I tried to wiggling my left ankle from left to right. It wouldn't budge.

"N- No," I replied.

"Okay. Come on." Chaz picked me up bridal style and carried me out to where the rest of the guys were.

"Chaz! What did you do?" Justin exclaimed when he saw me crying in Chaz's arms.

"I didn't do anything." He explained what happened and then I took off my skate so I could examine my ankle. It was swollen, hurt horribly, and I couldn't move it at all.

"Does that hurt?" Justin asked as he touched my ankle very gently.

I winced. "Yeah."

"We should go to the hospital. Tori, I think you shattered your ankle." Great! Today was supposed to be fun but instead I might end up having a broken ankle. Well, on the bright side, at least I got carried from the ice to where the concessions were and then from the concessions to Justin's car. Both times Chaz carried me.
