TORI'S POV

I was sitting in math class, when I felt my phone vibrate in my back pocket. I slipped it out, hid it underneath my desk, and turned it on. One message. It was from Chaz.

There's a carnival this weekend. Wanna go with me?

I replied and asked As in a date?

Kinda... He replied and a smile tugged on the edges of my lips.

Sure I told him, shut my phone off, and put it back in my pocket.

I got home after school and saw Pattie sitting in the recliner in the living room. "Hey Pattie, there's a carnival this weekend and Chaz invited me to go. May I?" I asked her.

"Of course. Just make sure you're home by a decent time," she told me.

"Decent as in..."

"Midnight."

"Alright. Thanks."

"You're welcome, hun."

I walked into my bedroom and called Caitlin. "Hey Caitlin. Guess what?"

"Taylor Lautner is over and you're inviting me to come see him?" she asked and I laughed.

"No. Chaz asked me to the carnival that's this Saturday!"

"Really? OMG! Do you think he'll ask you out?"

"I don't know. We've gotten really close in the past two weeks. I still think it would be awkward though, seeing that Chaz is one of Justin's best friends."

"That's how Christian felt when I first started dating Justin. Believe me, he'll get over it."

"Okay. Thanks."

"So..what are you going to wear?" Caitlin, of course would be the one to ask that.

"I just got asked! I don't know yet!" I yelled excitedly.

"I'm coming over!"

"Caitlin, it's Tuesday and the carnival is on Saturday. In four days. I have time."

"Too bad. I'm on my way." Then she hung up before I could object.

After what felt like forever, we'd finally picked out what I was going to wear: a green long sleeve top, dark-wash skinny jeans, paired with gray boots.

"What if Chaz kisses you? Or better yet, what if he asks you out?" Caitlin asked excitedly.

"If he kissed me, I'd kiss back. And if he asked me out, I'd happily answer yes without hesitation," I replied.

"What do you want to do?"

"I don't know."

"Let's make you a Twitter."

I gave her a confused look. "A what?"

"I'll show you." She pulled out her phone and showed me her Twitter. All these hashtags. All these notifications from people you're following. Sounds fun.

I decided it would be easier to make one using a laptop instead of a phone because the key board is bigger. "Justin! I'm taking your laptop!" I yelled down the hallway.

"No you're not!" He yelled back.

"Too bad! I'm already using it!" Then I walked into his room and grabbed his laptop off his desk.
