Chapter Six

TORI'S POV

  "Scooter's here!" Pattie yelled up the stairs to the boys, Caitlin and I.

  "Coming!" we all yelled back in unison. We all walked downstairs and figured out the vehicle situation: Justin is going to drive his car and take Ryan, Chaz, and Christian with him. And Caitlin and I are going to ride with Scooter.

  Caitlin and I got in Scooter's purple Mercades with rims. We got in the back seat and I was still curious about why Caitlin and Justin talked privately. Caitlin must have read my thoughts because she asked,"Can I trust you?"

  "Yeah, what do you need to tell me?"

  "It's about me and Justin."

  "What about you and Justin?"

  "Well, we were together before he got signed, and we knew it would be hard to keep in touch," she said. I already knew all of this because of what Christian told me earlier, but I just listened as if I'd never heard about it before. "Justin said that he probably wouldn't be able to see me anymore because he was moving to the States. I told him that he should follow his dream and get a singing career. Then we broke up and decided to stay just friends."

  "Oh," was all I could manage.

  "And then today he wanted to talk to me privately, so of course I was a little nervous. He told me that he still has feelings for me, and the truth is, that I still have feelings for him, too. I said that to him and he said that if we both feel the same way that we should get back together. But what about when he goes back on tour? Christian, Ryan, Chaz, and our families, we all moved to Atlanta so that we could see him. When he goes on tour or is in different states all the time to meet people, it's hard to keep that spark we have alive."

  "He seems genuine about what he feels towards you, do you think that?"

  "Yes because after he was done explaining how he felt, he kissed me. I pulled away because it was so sudden, but I felt the old spark that we used to have come back. Do you think that we should get back together?"

  "Wow. You must trust me a lot. I just met Justin, but he seems very sweet and caring. If it were me, I would say yes. I know he'd never do anything to hurt you. After all, when you walked in the room today, his eyes lit up. And that's a sign of true love."

  "Thanks Tori. You're awesome."

  "Anytime Caitlin."

  "So is this going to interfere with Justin's career at all?" Scooter asked catching us off guard.

  "Scooter?! You heard all of that?" Caitlin asked, shocked.

  "Yes. But don't worry, I won't tell the kid a single detail," he said referring to Justin. "You're secret is safe with me."

  "Thanks Scooter. You're the best," Caitlin said gratefully.

  "I've heard that before," Scooter said which caused us all to laugh.

  We got to Craig's Cruisers and Justin brought me to the go carts. "I'll drive and we'll race Christian and Caitlin," Justin said while getting in the driver's side of the go cart. Christian was driving his and Caitlin's go cart, so I thought we were pretty evenly matched. "How about we make a little bet, eh Christian?"

  "Sure," he replied.

  "Losers have to give the winners their tickets from winning arcade games."

  "Deal." Christian came over and shook Justin's hand and I shook Caitlin's hand.

  We were off and Justin was going really, really fast. And I loved it! "Justin?"

  "Yeah?"

  "Go faster! We have to whoop Christian's and Caitlin's butts!"

  "I think that's already in the bag."

  Then Christian and Caitlin zoomed past us. "Haha! Suckers!" Christian yelled.

  "I'm going to pass you!"

  "No you're not!" And then Christian passed the finish line.

  "No!" Justin yelled dramatically. "Tori! We lost what are we going to do?"

  "Justin, calm down. We're just going to give them our arcade tickets. It's not the end of the world," I laughed.

  "I can't lose anything! Rematch Christian. Single carts."

  "Bring it Biebs."

  They got in the single carts and raced five times around the track. Justin won. When they got out Caitlin said,"What are we going to do, Justin?"

  "About your's and Tori's tickets? You can two can figure that out."

  "No Justin. About us."

  "Wait. You and my little sister?" Christian asked.

  "C'mon Caitlin. Let's talk about this alone."

JUSTIN'S POV

  Caitlin and I walked away from Ryan, Chaz, Christian, and Tori, and went outside. "Justin honestly, I still have feelings for you. But you already know that. After I thought about it for a little bit, I think we could work." Caitlin said with a sparkle in her eyes

  "Then Caitlin, will you go out with me?" I asked her while taking her hand in mine.

  "Yes Justin. Yes I will."

  And then a bright white flash went off.
