JUSTIN'S POV

"Any chance you could be out of the house tomorrow night, mom?" I asked on the plane ride from Boston back to Atlanta.

"Depends. Why do you want me gone?" she asked me while raising an accusing eyebrow.

"I was planning on doing something with Caitlin tomorrow for Valentine's Day. And I was going to do it at our house."

"As long as there's no funny business," she said while giving me a stern look,"I'll allow it. I'll just go catch a movie and then go to Barnes and Nobel or something like that."

"Okay. Thanks. And don't worry Mom, there won't be any funny business."

"Good. What are you planning on doing tomorrow anyway?" my mom asked me.

"I was thinking of doing paintball and then-"

"Paintball?" my mom asked, cutting me off. "On Valentine's Day?"

"Yes." My mom opened her mouth to ask another question, but I beat her to it. "The reason is because she begged Christian to play when the guys and I went and played paintball the other day."

A few days ago- February tenth I think- Christian called me and asked if I wanted to play paintball with Ryan, Chaz, and him. Of course, I said yes.

When I got to Christian's, I heard Caitlin arguing with her brother because she wanted to go. But, because it was just supposed to be us guys, he told her no.

Christian, Chaz, Ryan, and I played paintball inside at a place where they have indoor paintball. I was just about to shoot Ryan in the chest to win, when he shot me in the arm, causing me to lose.

That's when I had the idea of Valentine's Day paintball. We'll play it outside in the snow to make it more fun. Then, when we come inside, there will be an ice cream sundae bar set up in the living room.

After I explained all of this to my mom, she said,"As long as no one gets hurt and there's no funny business, I'm okay with it." I opened my mouth to say okay, when she cut me off. "But if I get a call from the police saying that you two paintballed another person's house or something like that, you're grounded."

"You worry too much Mom. We'll be fine. And, we won't cause any trouble. I promise."

"Okay. Have Valentine's Day at our house. But next time Justin, ask me a week in advance. Not a day in advance."

"Noted," I said.

"Chaz is here!" my mom yelled down the hall to Tori. She was all bundled up in winter clothing with her ice skates in her hand. Caitlin gave Tori a pair that were too small for her, I think. Otherwise, I have no idea where she got the skates.

I walked to the door and opened it, revealing Chaz. He was holding paintball gear in his hand. I didn't have any extra, so Chaz said that he'd bring his to let Caitlin borrow for the night. "Thanks man," I said as I took the gear. "No funny business with my sister, you got that?" I questioned.

"Dude, you worry too much. I promise I won't lay a finger on her."

"I believe you." Tori walked into the living room, said hi to Chaz, bye to my mom and I, and then walked outside with Chaz.

"Okay," my mom started, "I'm going to go. You and Caitlin have fun. But not too much fun," she said while pointing her index finger at me.

"Mom, you have nothing to worry about, I swear."
