Chapter 26 – Katie Peterson

We arrived at Six Flags about an hour and a half before the actual concert started so I told Jessica to run off with Jackson to go and find something for us to drink and eat. Nick sighed and looked me straight in the eyes, “Why did you send your boyfriend and Jessica off instead of me and Jessica?”

“’Cause…” I began, “You’re going to help me find our seats…”

“You said they were front row,” he raised an eyebrow, “They shouldn’t be that hard to find.”

I rolled my eyes and poked my tongue out at him, “Oh shut up,”

I dragged Nick down to our seats and turned to look at him, “Okay, so tell me…what’s up with you and Jessica? You guys are so bipolar.”

“That’s what we both said,” Nick chuckled, yelling over the screaming girls, “But nothing is going on.”

I rolled my eyes again and hit his arm, yelling back at him, “Suuuureee…”

All of a sudden, we turned our heads to see, a cross armed, Jessica and then there was Jackson—who was just full on glaring.

“Oh,” Nick shout, “hey guys!”

Jackson shrugged him off, taking a seat between Nick and I; Jessica sat next to Nick—her seat was literally next to the stage—I was beyond jealous of her. But knowing her she won’t be reaching for any of guys’ hands…she’s not THAT big of a fan, yes she likes their music, but I’m not fully convinced that she likes the boys. Every time I’m looking at their pictures she would always walk away from me or the computer screen—it was pretty obvious she didn’t have any interest in them.

“Hey, Jessica, wanna switch?” I called over to her; she nodded rapidly—so Jackson and I ended up switching placed with Jessica and Nick.

***Jessica Montez’s POV***

The next hour went by way to quick because before I knew it—all of the boys: Niall, Zayn, Liam, Louis, and Harry were standing before the crowd. I rolled my eyes and looked to Nick.

“Why did you even agree to this?!” he screamed into my ear.

“I thought we were going to be riding rides and stuff,” I screamed back.

Katie was jumping around her seat to ‘Up All Night’; this was one of their songs I didn’t really know the lyrics to—so therefore, the song wasn’t on my iPod or in my interest—but Katie however, was singing every single word.

As songs passed and passed, they were finally singing their closing song, ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ so…what does Katie do?? She YANKS me from my seat and starts to jump up and down.

“Everyone else in the room can see it,

Everyone else but you-ou,” Harry sang.

Katie was shouting the lyrics up towards the stage as I noticed one little thing—Louis freaking Tomlinson was staring STRAIGHT AT HER and she wasn’t even noticing—she wasn’t even paying attention to the main reason she came here tonight. What the hell?

“HEY GENIOUS!” I shouted at her, smacking her arm at the same time.

“WHAT?!” she screamed back.

“LOUIS IS STARING AT YOU!” I yelled. The stage went really quiet as I made eye contact with Harry Styles…Fuck—you have to be kidding me.

Katie chuckled a little, but the people around me were just staring at me; I groaned and tipped my head back, “this can’t be happening.” I pushed past Nick and Jackson and started to run up the steps to the theater.

“Wait…” a voice called over a loud speaker.

My hands were balled up in fists and I turned to see Louis Tomlinson—literally standing in front of me—what the hell is going on? I wasn’t fangirling, I wasn’t freaking out, I was the complete opposite…I was very, very calm as he took my hand and started dragging me back to my seat.

“See this girl right here,” he pointed towards me, “She’s right—yeah okay, I was staring at her friend—‘cause her friends beautiful and I’m not freaked out to admit that.”

I rolled my eyes and slumped down in my seat.

“No, no, no,” Louis protested as I sat down; flinging the microphone back up on stage, “You,” he pointed to me, “and you,” he pointed to Katie, “Are coming with us.” He said in a very hushed whisper.

“GOODNIGHT EVERYONE!!!” Liam shouted.

As the crowd dis-burst from the theater Louis and Harry practically dragged me, Katie, Nick, and Jackson all back stage. Katie was FLIPPING out; she got her iPhone case sighed by all of the guys and got a kiss from all of the guys.

I sighed, looking at the time—it was freaking nine o’clock at night and I had Colorguard practice in the morning…talk about a great way to start my Monday morning, I thought—rolling my eyes.

“Katie, we really need to leave,” I said quickly; I felt Nick and Jackson’s arms slip around me, making sure none of the guys really did anything to me—because those two boys knew exactly I wasn’t a fan of the actual guys…just their music.

“Why are you in such a rush?” Katie asked, gritting through her teeth still staring at the boys.

“Because Katie,” I snapped, “I have Colorguard at six in the freaking morning and I’m not supposed to be late—so wrap this up, right now.”

Katie groaned, “Fiiiinnneee…”

“It was really nice to meet you guys,” I shouted over, sarcastically.

Harry sent me a cheeky smile and I could literally feel the guys’ grip on me tighten; I sighed impatiently, walked over to Katie and yanked her arm away from the guys, “Let’s go…”

“No wait…” Louis protested, handing me his phone, “Put your number in please?”

I sighed, tapped the screen and put my number in and threw the phone back at him, “there…happy?”

“Yes actually,” he winked at Katie, “Thanks for the numbers.”

I rolled my eyes and walked away with Nick and Jackson—forgetting Katie in the process.
