42: this is the end?

A/N: I just want to say to you all thank you so much for reading and voting on my story we are so close to 100 reads because of all of you! I appriate all the support and everything, also please give me any storylines you would like to see, i do have some good ones but hearing what you all would have to say would be great! Any way let's get on with this chapter, because i have a lot of catching up to do :) also got a goos storyline for this but the somg for this chapter (at the end) is the very last part of "what about now" by westlife

There wasn't a day that went by that we worried of what could happen with every second we all worried if dad could end up speaking all of would be done for.
"The hospital called" mum says. "It's news on your father".
We all had to head over to the hospital as quickly as possible and now our main consern came down to today.
"So what is happening to him?" Mum asks.
"After a fall he has had, he should have been dead" the doctor began. "However he is very lucky to have a sydrome know as locked-in sydrome which basically means...."
"He can't talk or move?" I asked.
"Exactly that" she nods.
We all try not to sigh in relief. He can't say or do any thing which in our suprise we at least know that he is sort of dead.
"So as long as we are safe and alfie is protected now" i said.
"That's the main thing." Mum agreed. "now let's get going".

"James i have been thinking" i started.
"Right what is this about?" He sighed.
"I am leaving hollyoaks for a while" i blurt.
"What.. but why things are going great dad is now.." he argued.
"Yeah i know ok, but i just need this out of the way this village too much has happend this year" i sighed.

James P.OV
I had to speak to lorie because i know she is the one person who i can trust and wont let nicole go.
I knock on her flat door.
"James?" She questions while opening it.
"I need to talk" he says. "And fast".
"Ok... and is this important?" She asks.
"Very, my own sister wants to leave the village" i tell her.
"Which one you have two"
"Nicole"
"Wait what! why?"
"I really don't want her to go which is why your going to help me get her to stay"
"But i didn't..."
"No arguing we have work to do" i smiled.

Nicole P.O.V
I just needed a time out away from the village and the way james reacted was actually more suprising than i thought, i wasn't going forever only a couple of months. At the moment i am in james' flat packing then the door opens.
"James is that you?' I called. "Coz creeping around isnt funny no more!"
My heart racing i look around the flat.
"Seriously i don't want to play any games now" i said and i turned around.
"Boo" the voice says. "You better start running bitch"
"Warren" i snapped. "Get out now".
"There is no way to speak to a killer i think i could try it in a second. "
"Please don't i am leaving hollyoaks ok don't ruin this for me" i begged.
"Oh i would do it any day" he cackled, he pulled out a gun.
"No" i gasped.

James P.O.V
"I heard a gun shot james" lorie cried.
"It's ok" he reasurred. "It won't be our problem."
"Of course it will, i am worried" she says.
I sighed.
"I will call the flat now" he said. "Happy?"
I tried to dial it but i had texts from ellie
What was that james sounded like a gun shot from your place ?

James pick up please

"We need to get to the flat" i said. "Now let's go".

I turn the key but the door seems to be open. I shut the door in as lorie is crying and unable to say a word.
"What is it lorie speak to me" i tell her but she didn't have to. "Nicole!"
"James" she croaks. The blood was all sticky around her. "He shot me.. warren.. he's.. you need to stop him".
"No, don't die on us" i begged. "Please nicole no!"
"I love you james, look after him lorie" i nodded.
"NO, someone help!" I cried running out and ellie comes running with alfie and mum.
"James?" Alfie says.
"Phone for help nicole she can't... she.. is not ready to die" i tell them and ellie goes in and screams as mum calls for an ambulance. It could be the last time i wouls see my close sister as with in an hour she was on a strencher to the hospital and everyone was crying.
"I am so sorry" lorie cried.
"Thank you" i muttered. "I don't think i can or ever will get over this more than i think i could."
I was stood in shock then i saw someone in a hood.
"James leave them" lorie said.
"No" i snapped. "Come back here, warren".
"What is this some big problem to you is it?" Warren laughs. "The loss of an unneeded person? That was only the beginning of my revenge".
"And this is only the beginning of james nightingale, and i know when some one is playing a game i always win" i grit my teeth.
"We will see about that" he smirked.
