LET's GO HOME (An Alternate Ending)

Surprised 😮 !!! Well, this update is for all those readers who were left disappointed with how this story ended along with those readers who had requested for an alternate ending🙂🙂.

AND AS DEV'S EYES CLOSED HIS GRIP ON SONAKSHI'S HAND LOOSENED WHILE THE EKG MONITOR BEEPED INTO A FLAT LINE.

As soon as that happened Sonakshi's breathe hitched seeing the scene unfold, the next moment she screamed "Doctor, Doctor" and ran out of the ICU. As she came out Misha and Badi Maa were left shocked seeing her while the Doctor with a couple of nurses made their way into the room while Misha and Badi Maa held Sonakshi who was trembling in fear as they asked her about the matter, but she just could not respond, but seeing her they could make out something was seriously wrong. They waited with bated breath for the Doctor to come out with Badi Maa praying fervently for his well-being.

The doctors checked Dev and immediately performed Defibrillation on him seeing him unresponsive, they were fearing the worst but just as they were giving up hope Dev opened his eyes as he sucked in his breathe as the doctors quickly stabilized him and immediately performed the necessary medication.

While outside the trio were waiting restlessly, each moment was passing as a year for them. Sonakshi was crying fervently as Misha tried to calm her down, trying to give her hope that everything would be fine. Half an hour later the doctor came out of the room as the trio rushed to him.

"How's he Doctor?" asked Misha breathlessly as the doctor smiled.

"Don't worry, everything is fine now. He is out of danger. Right now, because of the heavy medication he is unconscious but by tomorrow morning he should be regain consciousness" he said as everyone let out a sigh of relief, but the very next moment Sonakshi slumped down as the tears of sadness and tears in her eyes were replaced with tears of joy.

Misha sat beside holding her as she said "He is fine Sonakshi, he is fine. Your Dev is fine" as Sonakshi hugged her sobbing "Yes Misha he is fine, I thought I lost him again, but he is fine now, he is fine now Misha" she spoke smiling through her tears as Misha wiped her tears while Badi Maa wiped the tears in her eyes as she looked up and thanked god for saving Dev's life.

"Gayatri Ji, I suggest you guys should take rest. You all have been here since afternoon. Now that Dev is out of danger I will ask a junior doctor and a nurse to look after him. You all can spend the night at the hospital's guest house" said the doctor as Badi Maa nodded in agreement.

"No, I will not go anywhere leaving Dev" said the Sonakshi the very next moment adamantly.

"But Dr. Bose, he will not be conscious before tomorrow morning. And I cannot allow anyone to meet him before that so there is no point sitting here" said the Doctor as Sonakshi was about to protest but before that Badi Maa interrupted.

"Sonakshi, I know you are worried about Dev, but he is fine now Beta and Vidyut (the Doctor) is saying the right thing, let's go to the guest house. We will come back early in the morning tomorrow and anyways the guest house is nearby, if we are needed the hospital authorities will inform us. Right Vidyut" she said looking at him as he nodded his head in agreement. Unwillingly Sonakshi agreed but before that she went to the door of the ICU as she looked at Dev through the glass partition on the door, he looked pale and his head, right hand and leg were heavily bandaged while there were minor bruises all over his left hand and leg, but his breathing was even which reaffirmed her that he was fine.
