Bijoy stood silently as Sonakshi asked him the question again "Bataiye Baba, Misha jo bol rahi hai kya wo sach hai?" raising her voice slightly, but Bijoy was tongue tied. He did not know how to answer his daughter's question

"Baba, Sona aapsey kuch pooch rahi hai. Jawab dijiye uska?" it was Saurabh who spoke for the first time, all this while he was quiet as the talks that were happening were mainly concerned with the Dixit family but now the question was raised on their family, on his father and he needed to know the truth

"Saurabh, tum beech main matt padho ye mere aur Sona ke beech ki baath hai. Tumhey ismey padney ki koi zaroorat nahi hai" he snapped at Saurabh in anger

"Kyun beech main na padhun Baba, wo agar aapki beti hai to meri bhi behen hai. Bachpan se leke aaj tak aap humesha mujhey chup karatey aaye hain lekin aaj nahin. Aapko batana padega ki sach kya hai" he retorted back at Bijoy, his frustations of all these years of getting treated indifferently by Bijoy simmering out.

"Dada, ek minute Mujhey Baba par poora bharosa hai. Baba aap sirf ek baar keh dijiye ki aapko iss baarey main kuch pata nahi, main aap pe vishwas karti hoon" Sonakshi said to Bijoy, she hoped what Misha said was untrue.

As soon as Sonakshi spoke both Asha and Bijoy looked towards each other, Asha knew if Sonakshi knew the truth her trust on them would break but today they had to tell her the truth even if it meant that it would sour their relationship with their daughter.

She went towards Sonakshi and said "Sona, Misha jo keh rahi hai wo sach hai" stunning Sonakshi into silence, not only her father but even her mother knew the truth.

"Matlab, Maa aapko bhi pata thi ye baat" she asked trying to regain her composure as Asha nodded in agreement.

Sonakshi was flabbergasted to say the least, her parents knew about the PRE-NUP, even though they did not know the whole truth, yet they had known about it but in all these years they never told her anything about it.

"Phir, itney saal aap logon ne mujhey ye baat kyun nahi batayi" Sonakshi asked her parents agitatedly

"Sona beta, please meri baat sun. Haan ye baat sach hai ki Ishwari Dixit ne shaadi se pehle PRE-NUP ke papers humarey ghar bhijwaye they aur main uss waqt wo papers lekar gaya bhi tha unkey ghar lekin jab Dev ko ye baat pata chali toh wo unn par kafi gussa hua aur papers faad diye. Aur mujhsey vaada liya ki main ya baat tujhey naa bataun kyunki tu hurt hogi. Humney ye baat tujhsey iss liye nahi batayi beta" pleaded Bijoy as Sonakshi looked on sadly

"Theek hai Baba, main maan leti hoon ki uss waqt aapney Dev ke kehney par mujhsey ye baat nahi kahi. Lekin jab aap logon ke saamney mera ghar, meri shaadi toot rahi thi uss waqt bhi aap logo ne ye baat mujhey batana zaroori nahi samjha" she retorted back, anger dripping from her voice

She continued "Main itney saal Dev ko dosh deti rahi ki uski wajah se humari shaadi toot gayi, Suhana ne apney Papa ka pyar kho diya. Phir bhi aap logon ne mujhey ek baar bhi ye baat nahi batayi. Aapko pata hai Baba, uss PRE-NUP ke hi basis pe main ney Dev se wo papers sign karvaye they jismey mainey usko pichle saat saalon ke liye blame kiya aur Suhana ke saarey haq uss sey cheen liye kyunki mujhey pata tha ki wo apni beti ke saath time spend karney ke liye kuch bhi karega. Ek baar, sirf ek baar toh mujhey aap boltey Baba" said Sonakshi as she slumped down onto the floor as Saurabh and Ronita ran to her, they picked her up and made her sit on the sofa and made her drink water as Sonakshi calmed down a bit, but she got up again and went towards her parents who were standing silently, guilt gnawing them.
