Right after breakfast, I got a visit from Lou Ellen. I was already prepared, of course, but I was helping Seaweed Brain pack. Of course being the Kelp Head that he is, he forgot to pack for the quest. That was when Lou Ellen barged in.

"Annabeth, there you are! I was looking for you all morning!" Lou Ellen called.

"Why? Don't you have to pack?" Percy asked.

"I already packed, of course, unlike somebody here," She rolled her eyes.

"Well, of course, that isn't- hey!" Percy yelled. We just looked at each other and sighed.

"So, what have you come here for, Lou?" I asked her.

"My siblings did a trace for mom. As an experiment, of course, since along with the Mist, her other domains, especially magic, is fading quickly. Last night a shield I created instantly faded. It took all of my siblings' magic to trace her." She said.

"And?" I asked.

"They found it. At least, until the trail of magic disappeared. The last they could find it in was China."

"China?! I don't know Chinese! And I'm bad at math! They will judge me!" Percy yelled.

"Percy, that's just a useless stereotype. don't be racist. China? Well, Frank is part-Chinese so he might know some. Personally, I think Mandarin is rusty. " I said. Percy's eyes just widened even more.

"You know-" he was going to ask another question when Lou Ellen interrupted him.

"There's also something I wanted to ask about." She filled me in on the vision she had. As she went on about the bright lights and the gold-blue robes, I had my suspicions.

"Okay, so there's a goddess who was asking you to free her. Let's see your prophecy. Three demigods shall take a quest. That's you and Cecil and Will." I said.

"Leading them to the goddess in the west. That might be the goddess in your vision. From your description, I have an inkling of who she is, but we'll get to that later." Percy opened his mouth to say something but I won't let him get me off my groove and continued.

"Two magicians and another demigod sound like people we know," I said, looking at Percy.

"Who?" He asked.

"Carter and Sadie. Magnus. They're magicians and he's another demigod. It also fits the 'but pantheons together' line. Everything else is kind of just telling them to fix the Veil, which is the Mist."

"Okay, so who are Carter, Sadie, and Magnus?" Lou Ellen asked.

"Carter and Sadie are siblings. They're Egyptian magicians. Powerful too. We met them last year. I still have Sadie's number. Here. All I know is that they live in Brooklyn." I said, writing it on a piece of paper and giving it to her.

"And what about Magnus? Who is he?"

"He's my cousin. Father's side, of course. He's a Norse demigod, and his father is Frey, the Norse god of the summer. Don't worry, you'll like him," I said.

"So, back to the original question. Who was that woman?" Percy asked.

"Names are powerful, Percy. But if she is our hope of restoring the Mist, then all shall be well. The Primordial goddess of light. Hemera. And only Primordials are powerful enough to capture her and remove the Mist. That means the Shadow is-"

"Erebus," Lou Ellen said. You can see the visible change of lighting as the cabin darkened with the mention of Erebus' name.

"Yes. Erebus, the Primordial god of darkness. This is dangerous and terrible. You sure you can do this?" I told Lou Ellen.

"Hey, your prophecy was worse. While fate befouls the other three. I'd give you a lucky charm for that but magic doesn't work properly anymore." Lou Ellen said.

"Don't worry, we'll manage. Thank you," I said.

"Thanks, too."
